I agree, Sergio is not easier for Floyd and Manny..why would he be? he is a middleweight. But he is also not a huge financial reward to fighting him like it was to fighting Oscar and Antonio.

They can fight above 147 but the question is why? Sergio can fight over 160 as well but why doesn't he. I will tweet Ward right now and ask him about 160 and once he says " no problem, i will fight Sergio at 160" ...will this satisfy you?

Martinez weight 171 on fight night against Barker, I don't see a problem meeting Ward at 164.

Martinez's motives for fighting the smaller guys was flawed and people see that. The Floyd haters just wanna see Floyd lose a fight at any cost and they feel that Martinez is the one who can satisfy thier cravings. Not because of his skills but only because of the weight and power advantage he would have going into the fight. They are not interested in seeing a battle between two equally matched opponents, instead they long for the destruction of Mayweather.

I can understand that cause haters gon hate. I dont wanna see Ward and Martinez because not only would Ward have a weight advantage, he would also have a skill advantage. That boy is a special talent and his versatility is as good as you can find in the sport, he has everything. Tremendous skill offensively and defensively, speed, timing, reflexes, countering, inside game, slick....even as a fan of Sergio, I'd favour Ward via WIDE decision - as in 10 rounds to 2 wide.

My sentiments exactly. I just don't understand how someone who grew up watching boxing before the 90s can say they are a fan of all these hugging/headbutting ass fighters today. With that said, I think Sergio can beat Ward (at a catchweight of 163-165) if he can figure out how not to get grabbed illegally and hit while Ward holds him.
