If this is the only thing you see from Roach's statements, that's pretty pathetic.

No, Floyd isn't taking OSDT but Roach's suggestion isn't any better because you know they're coming at least once a month. Do it like baseball where they randomly test throughout the season without a heads up. Sometimes once, other times 5 times. It gets the job done and we've seen the power numbers drastically decrease since MLB started these type of tests

Manny brought up purse split when he said "there are no more issue with testing." If floyd isn't gonna offer 50/50 again fine with me. Manny said no the 1st time. STop blaming floyd for manny's bad business decision.
Mayweather said NO ONE gets 50/50. So because Manny didnt take extra drug tests but now will but Flyod wont do 50/50 its still Manny's fault?

Roach knows of two of his fighters who tested positive for PEDs

DALLAS – Freddie Roach, the trainer of Manny Pacquiao, said he has worked with two fighters who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs but takes precautions so it won’t creep into his gym in Hollywood, Calif.

Roach said one of his former fighters, Justin Fortune, was known to have used PEDs and James Toney twice tested positive for steroids, once when he was working with Roach.

“I won’t say I didn’t know,” said Roach, referring to Toney. “I never asked him, though. I never had a conversation. I could see his body structure had signs, his traps and stuff. He was either lifting a lot of weight or he was on (something).

“… I think I had one other fighter on steroids also, Justin Fortune. … I know he’d been there before.”

Of course they were. Floyd said so himself during his interview with Costas. Maybe you missed the part where Floyd said that Konz was flying back and forth and meeting with him to try and get a deal worked out. Is that not "negotiating"?

It might be "as close to OSDT as you can get" but the fact remains that is itsn't even remotely close. The testing, if Mayweather's desire is followed, covers only about 15-17% of the year. I'm surprised that The Roach has only come out with his comment now, since posters have been speculating for a couple of years now that the reason for Mayweather's multiple "retirements" is because he's stoking up with PEDS and taking enough time to flush the evidence out of his system.

Freddie Roach Interview with David Tyler 12/30/09

DT - Fred, I have a graduate's degree in Biochemistry and 30 years experience in developing blood chemistry tests.......I'll leave it alone, let's move forward.

FR - No wait, you can't tell me that there is a test that can detect HGH or growth hormones.

DT - Fred, I'm not here to make you mad.

FR - I'm not mad, I'm telling you that you are wrong if you think there is a test for HGH.

DT - Ok Fred, so you are saying that HGH cannot be detected by a blood test?

FR - Absolutely, 100%, NO! Saliva, blood, or urine.

DT - Freddie, please let's move on. Do you believe that this controversy is a result of the spectacular victory over Miguel Cotto where Manny looked super human?

FR - Mayweather is just scared.

Arum and Pacquiao said they weren't fighting on May 5th (the date Mayweather was cleared by the court to fight on) so even if Pacquiao got a 50/50 offer he wasn't going to accept it.

In what part of the world do you turn down the best and fairest deal initially and then expect a better one in future negotiations?
I do believe that this is the most simplistic post I've ever seen in this site....even for BIG D... And that's saying a LOT!!.

Hard to imagine that even BIG "B"... would take 3 years to realise that an athlete refusing to tke a simple test would look "guilty".... Apart from the "bended".....
