Tis is what loke th most about Floyd. Beyond the trash talking, the antics, hell even beyond all his skills in the ring. There is NOONE who will outwork him in the gym, no boxer and heck maybe even any athlete period.

Once Cotto pop his head back with a few hard jabs, Floyd will think twice about fighting overly aggressive.

If you looked at it objectively you'd realize Floyd hasn't shown K.O. power since he moved up to Welterweight. Who's he knocked out above 147? Exactly 3 people...Sharmba Mitchell (a smaller man moving up), Ricky Hatton (a smaller man moving up with a glass jaw) and Victor Ortiz (who he hit with a shot while ortiz wasnt looking..yes ortiz's fault but it doesnt change the fact that it's not hard to hurt someone with a punch when they're not looking). That's a K.O. percent of 37.5%, by the numbers not much power.

If you look at his one fight above 150 (against Delahoya) his K.O. % at junior middleweight is 0%. Floyd's a good defensive fighter and a good counterpuncher but lets not pretend like he's a power puncher at 147-154 also.
Not sure If I'd ever think Floyd will ever one-hit KO anyone at or over 147, but I think a TKO is the realm of possibility.

No wonder Cotto is eager to start training. Mayweather's stamina is legendary therefore Cotto is gonna have to take some risk early to get to Jrs body.

For Cotto to be effective he's gonna need to come in around 151-152 lbs for speed

I'd have to agree with you. With his speed and counterpunching ability a TKO is always in the realm of possibilty but I think he doesn't have many of them at 147 and above for a reason....Because he's more defensive minded than offensive minded. He'll open up a little but then when a fighter starts throwing back he'll reset and focus on defending. Unless he's willing to trade and take a few punches to land his own I dont' think he'll ever have a high TKO % at welter and above. And it's probably better for him because if he fought that kind of fight his chin might get exposed in the same way Roy Jone's (who was dominant for so long) got exposed once people started catching him. Mayweahter's already shown he can be hurt.

hey fu.cktard. do you know what staying in the pocket even means? It basically means GOING TOE TO TOE.

You sound like you're saying going toe to toe means deliberately dropping your hands and allowing your opponent hit you in the face. Man these morons joining the site these days are getting ******er and ******er and don't know **** about boxing.

If Floyd stays his ground IN THE POCKET and uses defense, that IS going toe to toe. If he DOESN'T stay in the pocket and runs around and pot shots that's NOT toe to toe...dumbass

We talking about that same jab that Pacquia had timed by round 3?

You do see the irony of putting Floyd Mayweather in place of Arnold's character in the Running Man right?
