When it comes to PAC-BOY's opinion on Floyd there is not logical/ unbaised explanation. Just ignore him and move on.

Now he is going to come with a super secret plan & strategy to defeat the best defensive and most accurate fighter this era? I just don't see it to be honest
I saw one thing he did differently his last fight against Margarito....At times he tied Margarito up and drove him backwards which was something completely new for him. It's not anything that great but it showed a gameplan and Cotto's willingness to do something different to try and implement that game plan.

I understand what youre saying but to win against Floyd the Cotto we are used to seeing just wont cut it and i believe he will definately come with a game plan to knock Floyd out early. Either that or resort to headbutting.
After looking at both Cotto-Margarito fights, Cotto appeared to be the same. Boxing, moving backwards, trying to pump the jab, land a right hand. I guess it was cause of Margaritos pressure style. I don't see the hunger in Cotto anymore. I mean Oscar who is a converted southpaw and is known for his jab and left hook was able to blast out Mayorga 7 years ago. Cotto looked like crap vs a washed up, out of shape, older Mayorga last year. Also I don't believe Cotto could apply effective pressure to disrupt Mayweathers offensive game plan.

An elite fighter better sure as **** be able to time a punch by three rounds, doesnt mean it still wasnt effective and cotto didnt land it again.

Plus, its easier for a southpaw to counter/time an orthodox's jab, his leading right hand is alot closer.

I think a good gameplan would be for Miguel to aim to land shots on floyds shoulders, arms, temples and wherever else he can hit instead of just aiming at floyds chin like most fighters make the mistake of doing. Floy'ds defense is too good for anyone to be able to continually hit him on the chin.... If I remember correctly Cotto once stopped a fighter by continually hitting him on the shoulder.

I noticed that as well. The problem i had with that fight is that the Slow Margarito was able to land 131 POWER shots on Cotto. Thats a problem.

The shoulders?...that has NEVER EVER BEEN EFFECTIVE... every fighter has tried that. It simply isn't effective. Thats the wrong game plan IMHO

The Clottey-Cotto fight is a prime example as why Mayweather will land easily vs Cotto. Look how aggressive Clotty was in landing right hands, left hooks, and uppercuts.
