Not really. Ortiz was being the aggressor against Floyd.....don't really know what people think was going to happen in that fight had it continued but I saw Floyd getting pushed into the ropes on a consistent basis and eating more punches that he had in his last 4 fights combined. Look people, mad or not about a headbutt attempt, Floyd would not have seized that opportunity to sucker punch Ortiz had he truly been in control of that fight. He did it to get Ortiz out of the mix while he could because he was not liking the way the fight was going.

Mosley has declined to a vast degree and I'm not sure why but he is ultra trigger shy while Cotto has evolved his offense to include more movement at the same time remaining just as offensive as he was in years past.

Cotto is a far more developed boxer than Ortiz is and he has great combinations on the inside. Floyd is a distance fighter from the jump so trying to **** it out with a short armed fighter on the inside is going to be a nightmare for him based on the physics of the situation alone, not even looking at the specifics of each fighter's capabilities.

Floyd will try to be aggressive but Cotto hits hard....I'd say just as hard as Mosley does and he is a much better boxer than Mosley is. Cotto, although battered by Pac, still managed to have Pac's face a swollen mess the next day and busted his ear drum.

A couple things wrong with your post.....

ORTIZ IS QUICKER THAN COTTO AND COME ON MAN, AND YOU KINDA FIBBING ON THE WHOLE FLOYD WAS GETTING HIT MORE THAN IN HIS LAST 4 FIGHTS COMBINED.... LETS TAKE A LOOK...

ORTIZ LANDED NO JABS.... NOT A SINGLE JAB from Ortiz landed on Floyd.

In neither round did he land a jab... LMAO!!!

In x4 rounds Ortiz landed wait for it...........








26 PUNCHES LMAO!!! Averaging 6.5 punches a round.

He threw 148 punches total and landed 26!!!

Okay so lemme put this in perspective for you. Because obviously you are counting punches that were rolled..... LMAO....

Floyd landed in the fourth round.... 24 power punches and 3 jabs...

I noticed many on here still don't see or understand how technically flawless Mayweather is. Floyd went toe to toe many times with fighters and either towels were thrown in the ring or corners were stopping the fight. He became a lil more passive but he still push Mosley and Ortiz around. Floyd is going to beat Cotto up and push him back. Cotto is going to try and box while Floyd is going to bring the fight to him. The thing with Mayweather is that he can turn it off and on whenever he wants. Miguel will have no answer for Floyd. I like Cotto but he is too wide open. I can see this fight being stopped in the 10th in favor of Floyd.
