No boxing knowledge or contribution to discussions but rather twisting up facts, forgetting the past and trying to do everything they can to throw dirt on Floyd when half of these if not the majority first saw Floyd fight against Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton. Why can't we just have discussions about the sport and predictions of the fight(s) without hearing "Floyd is a chicken", "Why is Floyd scared of Pac", yadda, yadda,yadda... Manny could have been fighting Cotto but he would not do it unless Cotto was completely off of his game. Pac/Bradley is fighting so go find some threads about that fight. Pacquiao don't even have this many pages on his threads from his own fans like Floyd. Floyd brings more Pac fans to his threads than Pac does. Floyd/Pac fight ain't happening so get over it.

to beat floyd you have to be able to feint, first of all. also... something miguel does that will make this fight easier for FLOYD is that there's no deception at all with Cotto. He sets himself to throw a shot, he cant stick, move, stick, stick, move. He moves, stops, squares up, throws, covers up, moves. Very basic style with nothing that will give floyd any real problems

you need to be able to move floyd's feet to tag him, Cotto doesnt have the ability to move correctly to do this. He will be right in Floyds face all night, which is the worst place you can be against an elite defensive counter puncher

lol, dude shane landed more punches in the first x2 rounds than ortiz did in x4!!!

What are you talking about??? Any professional prize fighter punches you in the face, you would be an ass hat to stand there and take it without backing up....

Shane landed x11 in round 1 and x18 in round 2.

That a total of 29 and remember ortiz only landed 26.

You stated what regular joe blow think s about what he remembers of that fight and of course he will say the x2 piece with no drink.... But joe blow doesnt know shat about boxing either... So when you ask the professionals, they agreed with floyd...lol...

Cotto is a decent fighter and he already stated he will protect himself at all times.... He got that part right..

Now floyd did have a knot on the back of his head from the rabbit punches...i remember that quite vividly... Do you remember the rabbit punches. Or even the intentional leaping headbutt??

Do you remember ortiz saying he was trying to break floyds nose??? Do you remember ortiz and his trainer saying floyd was a dirty fighter, yet he tried to get a immediate advantage of floyd by praying the fight would continue and fighting floyd with a broken nose??

I am a fight fan and i remember all of that..... Its not like he was coming on strong or some shat. I just proved that he (ortiz) took more punches in round #4 than any other round... The round you love to point to. I also remember that shiner he had. I also remember him saying that he was starting to get hot as if floyd really gets tired....

I remember him being bigger as well...

i remember him lying saying he was going to beat floyd and he told himself that as a kid when floyd was an amateur. Why would he want to fight an amateur?? Did he see the greatness in floyd then???

        retire for today mathed...
        whammmmmooooooo!!!!

QUOTE=Fetta;11848809]Hey PAC fans how about you guys go post on a PAC thread instead of a Floyd thread. PAC needs support right now cause I'm not sure if you know but he's fighting in June.[/QUOTE]

What happen when shane let his hands go? I hope your not referring to the few good punches he got in? He set up a good right hand by fainting to the body Wow !. he never landed it again , and I honestly don't think he expected it to land .
Floyd is going to stop Cotto so all these "cotto needs to go to the body " Bs post are pointless. Cotto won't feel comfortable enough to get that close in the pocket . Once floyd takes Cotto's left hand away he's a sitting DUCK!

P.S his trainer won't help so what he knows the Counter punch style did that help in the Olympics when floyd beat the Cuban ?

It used to be like that here until the ******* type of (fake) "fan" came to the boards acting like they're a true boxing fan because they watched Pac vs De La Hoya....

I keep the quotes in my sig that people can conveniently visit from the past for a reason. You will see constructive criticism towards Floyd, however you didn't have complete idiots that do nothing but troll or act like they know what they are talking about because they watched Pac fight De La Hoya.....

Too many *******s trying to rewrite history as if they have been watching boxing long enough to even talk about history.

Like I said years ago, *******s are a horrible fad that will die off in time and BS will be back to discussing boxing and not *******s talking about Floyd 24/7. I count down the days. In the meantime just look at Mayweather vs Cotto thread views compared to Pac vs Bradley thread views... Too many *******s trolling...

I'd definitely be open to Mayweather being aggressive, as long as he doesn't get reckless... Which, considering Floyd's ability and history, I highly doubt he'd do. If he fights Cotto like he fought Ortiz though, I can see Cotto landing some hard shots on him. Then again, if he fights Cotto like he fought Mosley, it could be one sided. Either way, I'm still damn excited about this fight!!!

Cotto in my humble opinion is really predictable offensively

I really hope he does, people here understimate Cotto's offense and timing. Floyd is going to try to walk Cotto down but when starts getting hit a lot more than he's used to he will be going back to potshotting.

It makes me laugh when a few people on here are constantly predicting Mayweather by K.O......"Floyd Ko's Cotto", "Floyd Ko's Pacquiao".

If you looked at it objectively you'd realize Floyd hasn't shown K.O. power since he moved up to Welterweight. Who's he knocked out above 147? Exactly 3 people...Sharmba Mitchell (a smaller man moving up), Ricky Hatton (a smaller man moving up with a glass jaw) and Victor Ortiz (who he hit with a shot while ortiz wasnt looking..yes ortiz's fault but it doesnt change the fact that it's not hard to hurt someone with a punch when they're not looking). That's a K.O. percent of 37.5%, by the numbers not much power.

If you look at his one fight above 150 (against Delahoya) his K.O. % at junior middleweight is 0%. Floyd's a good defensive fighter and a good counterpuncher but lets not pretend like he's a power puncher at 147-154 also.
