    Just watch the fight.
I meant is has never been an effective tactic when employed by Mayweathers opponents.

But yes, I think Mayweather at 35 isn't moving as much for a reason, he's becoming more dependent on his power and his combinations, as opposed to his shoulder roll, pot shot, lateral movement like before, might be opposition or might be age, but he's standing in there longer than usual.

The reason Mayweather doesn't move as much is because he wants his fights to be more exciting. He's been accused of being a "runner" in fights, and being a safety first fighter, even though that wasn't really the case. So now he's switches up his style, and makes it painfully obvious that he's not a runner. He's going after guys now in a fight, which is more entertaining. And being that he's in the tail end of his career, he's willing to take on more risk.

Floyd plays basketball like crazy by the way, even playing with guys presently in the NBA and doing well on the court. He has his legs more than many, many other boxers!

But which is it people? Do you want Floyd moving around? Because then you say he's a runner. Or do you want Floyd to fight more toe to toe, where he's engaging more and being the aggressor? Because then you say he's lost his legs since he's obviously refusing to move around much.

      People cannot be satisfied.

Hey Atreyu, what a great fan of Cotto and boxing you are... Also a blind rat could see Cotto is the ****ing man and always has been. You go by your ****ty criteria with them silly alphabet titles and I'll go by what I see - Cotto fighting threats, resume is one of the best in this era, way better than Floyds. Cotto made Foreman hop after bouncing with him, not being outboxed like the script was. Fact is, Foreman never lost that leg in the ring before and is a bigger dude. Fact is B, Cotto beats these guys who are bigger and gets TKO's. Stop crying about his wins you just mad papa, cheato was losing eye or not - bu you KNOW that already, you just trolling your hate for Cotto, don't even believe the **** you write yourself LMAO I want Floyd to be aggressive, Cotto can eat anything he throws and hits harder. May 5th that 0 will go. And you will be making up excuses lol.
First off why the aggressive tone? Secondly I like Miguel Cotto as a fighter but that doesnt mean I can't express my opinion on the outcome of this fight. Me mentioning Cottos first victory over a champ with a title being Yuri Foreman was not to discredit Cotto but to state the facts.

His resume is one of the best of this era as far as names but he never beat any of these "names" when they were champions or at their best. Not better than Mayweathers. I will give him credit for the close Mosley Win. IMO that is his best Win.

Mayweather boxing and moving = "He's running"

Mayweather standing toe to toe = "He has no legs"

          • I hope so...

No bigger reason than AGE... Is why Floyd was the aggressor vs. Ortiz ! 34yr still in his prime vs. 22yr still developing ...no brainer , Floyd had NO respect for Ortiz. On the other hand, Cotto is whole new ball game. Floyd did earn my respect when he fought Mosely, regardless of what people say, Old Man Mosely was in fact the most dangerous fight Floyd ever took. Although, Floyd got caught in the 2nd, he responded Dominantly, as he should have. Cotto is now Floyds most dangerous opponent. Cotto can Box. Cotto can fight. Cotto can take a punch. Floyd speaks truth when he says Cotto nearly undefeated. AND the most interesting of them all ...the new Cuban Trainer. Everyone knows Cuba is threat in boxing. Rumor has it, this guy was among there best trainers, He's probably breaking down tape right now and comparing him to 10 different cuban Floyd's by now. I don't know... but all this talk about Cotto not being a worthy opponent... I don't see it.

He is worthy, I just don't feel he will win the fight. Cotto deserves the match and will be formidable early on.

Do you think his family will be at the Mayweather fight? If they are and Mayweather starts his unstoppable offensive attack, how do you think his family will react?
Absolutely it was. How Cotto's family reacted is irrelevant. How do you think someone's family is going to react to them getting punched in the face?????If you want to post something about a fighter, pictures or whatever that's fine because they choose to fight and everything that goes along with it but don't bring a fighters family into it....a fighters family is not relevant to any point you're trying to make. If you have something to say about someone say it about them but it's ignorant and disrespectful to bring their family into it.

I didn't say anything disrespectful I posted a picture. Her husband in a boxer, she knows he gets punched in the face, she went to the fight, she reacted to the fight, we saw, we reacted. I don't believe me posting a picture of a moment in boxing history is offensive.

This thread is entitled "Mayweather: I'll Be Very Aggressive, Attack Cotto Early"

If Mayweather is aggressive and he starts picking apart Cotto, this same thing could happen. How is that insensitive?

Boxing happens in the ring. It has nothing to do with how people react in the stands. IMO it's ****** for HBO to even show the fighter's wives or girlfriends. How do you think they're going to be reacting???Look at Pacquiaos wife, even when he's being dominant. How do you think Mayweahter's girlfriend reacted when he got wobbled by mosely??? Just because they didn't zoom in on her during that exact moment or I'm sure there would be people on here like you who would be posting that picture and saying that's how she's going to react during the cotto fight. It's ****** and irrelevant to boxing and it shows me you're only someone that's watched boxing and not experienced it in the ring or you'd be a little more respectful of fighters and their families and understand that boxing happens in the ring.
