after seeing how successful novelas are in spanish tv stations i can completely understand the thirst to leak rumors and stir shyt up.

bro i know you might be new here so let me tell you about me, my work speaks for it self i have leaked many news here or in esb way before any other site on the net had that info. I leaked the LAra-hearns matchup a week before u could find it anywhere else, ask yudi lara (lara's wife) about me she will tell you how mad she got at me when i told her lara couldnt beat angulo or martinez a few years ago. i leaked the rigondeaux cordoba match up for the strap way before anyone on the net had the info, i leaked rigo being paid to wait and fighting the ramos-japanese matchup way before espn, boxingscene or anyone had it,and just like those i could give you a few more examples

I watch rigondeaux give his speech after the ramos fight and i can pinpoint at least 3 faces out of his entourage around him during the interview and give you their names and honestly tell you that i speak to them on a monthly basis. All im saying is im not just a cuban guy with no job with nothing better to do but talk ish online. most of the times i bring something fresh it comes from a good source so believe me im not a shyt talker.

with that being said that doesnt mean that what i posted is 100% true thats what i clearly said they are rumors. the weigh issue im glad you posted a vid and the other socio posted a pic believe me i was losing sleep over that last night

however the money issue i have heard form very good sources in mia and it seems that it is true, the weigh issue i only heard orly talk about

i have not heard about that matter of fact i was going to tell rey sanchez to ask about that on monday during the press conference, rey does a lot of work with boxingscene and has his own editorial piece. I really like his interviews, he is great i can only wish mainstream reporters asked the same questions he asks

Someone posted a picture of Gamboa purported to have been taken on February 9. Yuri's in street clothes, but he looks normal, no apparent weight issues. I found it hard to believe that Gamboa could be so terribly overweight, anyway; the guy doesn't get too heavy between fights.

Bottom line: I don't believe the fight is in jeopardy. However, my concern is Yuri might indeed be distracted. I agree that certain people like to spread rumors and have some fun with "el bochinche;" but, as with many rumors, there might've been a spark that started the fire.

Gamboa appears very ambitious to me. From what I've gathered, he's very eager to learn the business side of the sport. He's not your average fighter in any way; he's not likely to be used and abused without a struggle. I'm not a Mayweather fan, but I can see how Floyd might be better to deal with from a promotional standpoint. Whatever route Yuri takes, I hope it works out well for him.

It is definitely different, but this kind of fight deserves this kind of promotion. I really hope it all works out and these are just rumors.

i hope so, the contract is signed and yuri seems like he is in shape and with the press conference coming next week it seems like its moving in the right direction, but the whole thing that happened yesterday at el tigre's gym is scary indeed
