THANK GOD if it's true. It's a crap match up. Gamboa is gonna look like Maidana did V Alexander - slow, sluggish, hopeless. Rios will beat him easy via stoppage and as I've said before, all the Rios fans will come in drones and **** on about how beat a world champ blah blah blah etc. etc. etc.

I'd be more inclined to watch this if Gamboa had a warmup fight at lightweight to gauge whether his body responds well to the weight and whether he's retained his power and speed.

what i do find odd, is that duquense had everything set up to go to vegas for the gamboa fight that week and he decided to cancel everything at the last minute all of a sudden. a guy like duquense is reliable and honest, im not sure wtf is going on down there.

            has gamboa even started training?

According to duquense Gamboa's contract with steward stated that they had to start training exactly 45 days before the fight, i believe there is 44 days left right now and steward is nowhere to be found. He also said that Gamboa's team is going to train in Las Vegas for the fight

              Salas we miss you!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure what to think about Gamboa taking on Steward as his new trainer...I still don't. But I'm a little skeptical about these big name trainers, unless you're their main guy. Obviously, Wlad is a bigger fish than Yuri; he comes first. One thing about Ismael, you knew he was devoted to Gamboa. I hope everything works out for Yuri.

Refresh my memory, has Gamboa fought since having Steward in his corner?
