Cotto is still a good fighter.. His only defeats were only against Marg and Pac in his last 5-6 fights.. Though he is really close to losing what ever is left in his prime... His move to 154 is still not proven, and I think its because of the fact that he is getting older..But that doesnt mean that Cotto is not a credible opponent...Besides both Cotto and Floyd are really WW's to begin with..

But I wont be surprise if he pulls off an upset.. I am giving Floyd credit if he beats Cotto.. I hate the *****s, but I am not about to take credit from a fighter for beating a tough and still credible opponent like Cotto..

Who has Cotto deciseivaly beat that makes him so special?

People LOVE to over rate Cotto because Pac fought him.
Im pretty sure u call mayweather an elite fighter....

Chico is his biggest win... besides that... hatton, de la hoya, mosley, baldomir, judah, marquez??? Whats the difference between that resume and cottos??? For me they are both good resumes with good names on it.....

Gatti Mayweather has to be one of the biggest mismatches in a big name fight ever, at least one of the biggest I've seen. It won't look that bad but I do think Floyd should win relatively easily.

He's never lost to borderline guys like Robinson and Manfredy or Mickey Ward. Torres was a huge struggle, but a step or three up form Rodriguez.

I'm hardly overrating Cotto. He's a very good fighter short of being a great one. He has a Vargas-like tendency to be in good fights no matter who he is in with. If Mayweather runs Cotto like he did Gatti, it is IMPRESSIVE because Cotto is a superior opponent. Cotto is a level above Gatti.
He's very short of being a great one.

Cotto might not get "Gatti'ed" but he is sure done at elite level.

Anyone can sit there, sit back years later, and try to pick out places where a fighter struggled. Miguel has given every opponent he has faced a tough time or won(except pac).

As for the question. I know you're asking but if anyone feels this way, you don't know **** about the sport. Floyd might win a lot of rounds, I could see this but the rounds will be competitive. There will be no beat down and Floyd might be hurt more than a few times in this fight. This is Floyds hardest fight in years.
                  No, no, it really isn't.

I'd love to know who you would rank ahead of Mosley in 07 on Floyds resume. Castillo wasn't. Outside of the Johnston fights, Castillo was not a great fighter. His resume was over blown and his p4p ranking was based completely on accomplishments that he never achieved. Hernadez was a good win but over Shane and Shanes domination over Vargas, come on. The only leg you can stand on is Corrales. Floyds resume is good but it isn't much better than Miguels.
