Every fight Floyd has, a bunch of his fans say he will "Gatti" his opponent. I highly doubt that happens this time, just as it didn't happen in any Floyd fight since Gatti.

Gatti had a career track record of getting blown out past the B+ level. Cotto has a reputation for giving elite fighters hard fights and winning all but two. Cotto would have beat Gatti as bad as Mayweather, if differently. Gatti, on his best day, was NEVER remotely in Cotto's league.

If Mayweather beats Cotto like he did Gatti, it would be the second most impressive win of his career after Chico.

Yea, easy for Mayweather. Two different wavelengths Floyd and Cotto. Floyd's bout to put a hurting on Miguel. So much so that I ain't even gonna watch it. Floyd easy.

              Elite fighters?

Who? Clottey? Mosley? He barely beat them. Clottey is a ***ing joke and pacatards swear Mosley was shot the second he started walking at the age of 3 years old.

Who has Cotto deciseivaly beat that makes him so special?

People LOVE to over rate Cotto because Pac fought him.

Who said decisive blah blah...I would argue Margarito was an elite Welter when they fought and it was a war despite the loss. Clottey was a tough out and that was a good fight. Mosley was still elite when Cotto fought him in a very good fight. Judah wasn't far from being the undisputed Welter champ. Pac was a tough, really good fight until the fifth.

He's never lost to borderline guys like Robinson and Manfredy or Mickey Ward. Torres was a huge struggle, but a step or three up form Rodriguez.

I'm hardly overrating Cotto. He's a very good fighter short of being a great one. He has a Vargas-like tendency to be in good fights no matter who he is in with. If Mayweather runs Cotto like he did Gatti, it is IMPRESSIVE because Cotto is a superior opponent. Cotto is a level above Gatti.
