I'm glad some of you feel that Cotto is done, that he's gonna get smoked, etc.. How will Floyd be defined after the fight if Cotto wins or barely loses? No doubt the excuses will come out flying...

I recall when Cotto fought Zab and Mosley. Most argued that Cotto was too slow, flat footed, a robot, etc.. How did this massive difference in speed help them? They found a jab in their grill when they fired them super fast punches.

Oh wait, he can't fight backwards. Abdullaev, Mosley and Margarito come to mind. With the exception of the latter, everyone claimed that Cotto was running away. It seems that the judges differ from all the knowledgeable desk jockeys here. Cotto fought going backwards and he did so effectively.

Cotto has a weak chin, mind, heart. 11 rds getting blasted by Margarito with arguably loaded gloves. Tko'ing Zab while having a tooth bust through his lower lip and swallowing blood. Going the distance with Clottey with the gash he suffered in their fight. Yup, he breaks down mentally.

He gasses out. I can't argue this too much. He has gassed out, no excuses here. In order for Floyd to gas him out, he's going to have to apply pressure to make Cotto work harder. That is not in Floyd's nature.

Cotto, is a one trick pony and/or can't adjust in the ring mid fight. Whoever claims this clearly has not seen many Cotto fights. I won't even address that one.

I can go on, but I think I just proved most of these negatives as moot points. Cotto has quite a few flaws (over hand rights and uppercuts come to mind)and no doubt that Floyd will expose them. But to say that Floyd will walk down, wear down, Tee off, discourage and eventually TKO Cotto is ludicrous.

And people here say that Cotto fans are the delusional ones. mmhmm

He's a come forward fighter that let's his hands go with little pop! Trading with PAC is a recipe for destruction. He's gonna get hurt! And That camp knows they have to be brutal and win impressively or they are gonna lose even more ground in the JR negotiations
Skill wise I will give the edge to Bradley..Better foot movement and I think Bradley will be very physical with Pac(I believe Bradley will be stronger then Pac as well)which will give Pac a lot of trouble as well..Pac's edge is in the speed and power department..I also will give an edge to Bradley in defense, guy's who just count out Bradley and say Pac is superior in every way to Bradley have not been watching closely...

[COLOR="Navy"]Great post! "[Cotto has quite a few flaws"

So does Floyd. He's succeptable to a really good jab. Cotto has that. He gives you the body. Cotto will hit him there. Floyd throws 35-40 punches a round. Cotto fights a steady pace constantly touching his opponent. So, he has more than a chance. He will hit Floyd. He's smart and knows what to do at this stage in the game. Have faith in him because I do. It will be an intriguing fight, and I cannot wait! You get GREEN K by the way./COLOR]

Morales is done and has picked his opponents wisely(don't get it confused with Morales beating a credible opponent),I don't remember Ali or B-Hop taking a hellacious beatings as Cotto did...

Mayweather will be stronger then Cotto and won't be hit clean often..Cotto is also easily discourage as well..I don't think Cotto has the tools needed to beat Mayweather...

You must have have conveniently skipped over my post. You posted your thoughts, how bout backing them up with a few examples at least. How do you figure that floyd will discourage Cotto? Mayweather stronger than cotto? Good thing fights aren't decided based upon what you think.

Pac sleeps on Bradley and catches a beating. Floyd takes Cotto seriously and still barely manages to survive.......I would not be surprised if Cotto drops Mayweather and wins.

I'll have to wait and see if I can win some more bets because I have a bet on the fight that will tie up almost all my points.

I may take some prop bets on Mayweather to offset my losses in case Cotto catches beatdown.
