@Realizniguhnit, Cotto has more power than DLH in 2007 at 154. DLH really was past it in both Pac and Floyd fights. This is all opinions but to be honest, being short gives you the opportunity for leverage and to block your body better. Similar to the results with identical competition, Cotto would have TKO or KO'd 2007 Oscar, not Prime Oscar, but by then Oscar was slowed down enough and did not have any power to keep Cotto off of him. Floyd was laughing at all his shots. Cotto at 147 broke Pac's eardrum, at 154 his power stopped Mayorga (a bigger, hard punching aggressor) and put an admittedly handicapped Foreman to the ground (though Cotto's movement made his knee gave out and he was another bigger man who hits harder than his resume speaks for, ala Floyd). Then we see him **** Cheato hard in the rematch, harder shots than the 1st, Lampley had mentioned it too. At the end of the 7th Cotto lands a body, body, head shot combo that stunned Margs, he couldn't even do the signature smile. However likely it is that he loses vs Floyd, I think Cotto has a hard time getting walked down by Floyd, who lacks the power, and more than just a punchers chance. Besides the jab, he's got a great bounce on his feet and can move in an out, should be fun to watch I can't wait!
Well I have to disagree with you on that an 07 Oscar would wipe the floor with the much smaller Cotto of today, you're talking(or writing) as if a 31 yo Cotto is still in his prime? 31 isn't prime anymore, which imo is part of the reason Floyd chose him, he feels that at 35 he has more left in the tank than a 31 war torn Cotto, now Cotto was hitting shockingly hard in his last fight but he was also expending a lot of energy and was struggling to breath by rd 8 lol huffing and puffing he was, but Marg is a stationary target anyway so punching him was like hitting a heavy bag for the quicker cotto, Floyd's different and u will see why, it will be a glorified sparring match with not many exchanges and floyd will win sure cotto will have his moments probably win a few rounds buts thats about it.

Floyd to me is taking a risk for the 1st time in a long time but if a fan like yourself can see it the opposite way, I can respect that.
I give cotto a shot too he defo has the tools he jus needs to be Reckless and smart instead of boxing safe, **** covering the chin he needs to be ruthless and rush him to the body constantly he cant box him on the outside and floyd aint got the power to ko him in one punch cotto is a tough ****er.

Hey man like a said I like Cotto, but he is YOUR favorite fighter, and Floyd is MY fav fighter so I can't ride with Cotto this time, I would have rode with Cotto vs Pac at 154 but obviously thats not gonna happen unless he beats Floyd. But yea man I'm honest and call it like I see it but if I was Floyd I would pick and choose fights too, for one people forget that Floyd earned this people wouldn't even give floyd a shot when he was a prospect beating everyone coming up now he's the top dog, going out getting 20-30-40 million a fight why not pick and choose opp you figure you can beat, boxing is business...

Well thats what I say, if Cotto is gonna go in there an try to box like i think he will then we are in for a sparring session, but If cotto goes in there not giving a **** taking risks and going all out, then we just may have a classic on our hands, but I strongly doubt that thats the cotto we are going to get because cotto would be stepping out of his comfort zone if he does that and last time he stepped out his comfort zone happened to be against Pacquiao lol...

Cotto's not done yet unless Floyd ruins him, but I see Floyd taking it easy on his old buddy Cotto, people forget Floyd and Cotto have hung out together in PR I think it was in 08 or 09 I think they had put some type of truce between them then because everybody thought they were discussing a fight but it was actually a promotional meeting of some sort.. ironically it was also the best time for the two to have fought, both were still prime..

I'll bet you 11,000,000 points that Floyd beats him. Deal?

By the book Mayweather should win but there's a chance of upset if you call it that way.
