Cotto shoulda fought Martinez last year instead of the bum of the month, so should Floyd after he puts a beating on Cotto but he won't IMO.

i give credit to floyd for some of those fights even latley , but they werent exactley against top opposition either a 38 yr old mosley isnt exactley the same as fighting a paul williams or kelly pavlik dude,he ducked williams and margs hard!!!! I respect the Floyd fans who say he is choosing Cotto as an easy payday more than the guys who think this is a good fight, meanwhile, they were calling Cotto shot (like a lot of other May's competition), just a few months ago. May either fights old versions of a best fighter or young, ungifted fighters. And this fight is a good fight to me, the riskiest he is taking in years. Even though I may be wrong and he totally outclasses Cotto, I think Cotto should do better if not as good as DLH did.

Well he is in a lot of **** with the WBO no? Being mandated to fight this one or the other. Mayweather I don't speak for, ever. Lets see, Cotto needed rehabilitation and fought Foreman while Martinez was nbuilding up his name. Mayorga was a tune up for Margs bc of aggression and style. Cotto obviously just beat Margarito, which had to happen for him. Now he's fighting Floyd. Which is a better fight to you, Floyd or Martinez? Exactly. Maybe Sergio gets the winner, who knows?

He is a throwback fighter. Got cheated against and ruined. Slowly built himself back up. What more can you expect? He fought any and every one he should have ever fought. The same can NOT be said for Martinez, Floyd, etc.
