Again I'm not here to compare those guys, rather to say that all are nothing but prospects at this point.
Why do you think Alvarez has fought a LW, and a couple of WW's at 154 instead of the big dogs such as Cotto, Kirkland, Martinez and others?
They are still bring him along, just like Broner and others are being brought a long as prospects.
You don't give a guy a title then develope him as a prospect...
Canelo should not have a title if he isn't ready for the best..Comment

Alvarez has fought on the Under card of Mayweather's last 2 fights.
That alone tells you how credible this fight is.Comment

Cotto at 154 I wouldn't have minded but it is true that he is a Pac leftover. And Manny fights Floyd's leftovers NOT the other way around.
The one I would have really loved to see is Floyd vs. Sergio. But even he is busy with Macklin.
So Canelo is pretty much the biggest "name" and PPV attraction available after that.Comment

Actually, I said that Ortiz was a C class fighter and at his absolute best should only be a sparring partner for either Manny or Floyd (and he was indeed Pac's sparring partner in the past). So take your bull**** somewhere else. Floyd-Canelo was on the docket the minute Floyd booked the MGM 2 weeks before Pac-JMM, most of you clowns were just too ****** to see it. You were blinded by empty tweets and comical 70-30 split demandsComment
