If you truly think this then fair enough.

But since you are a boxing fan and post regularly on this site, you would have commented on this in the past.

Please post comment you have posted claiming Canelo will destroy Cotto.

Would hate to think your opinion of a fighter goes up or down depending on whether Floyd fights them or not.

What would that say about you?

I'd consider the Ortiz win miles ahead of Canelo. At least Victor had beaten Berto.

Cotto is the man Floyd needs to fight.
yo what city is that in your sig??

and yeah Canelo isn't ready see this is what happened with Ortiz dude got pushed way too fast into the limelight and promoted as the next big thing in boxing then they chin checked his ass and it's a waste of time and money... this would make a lot of money tho cuz Canelo is like the Pacquiao of Mexico......sorta

LOL .. A better question is "Who was Pascal at that point?"

What win did Pascal have at the point when Froch beat him that made him any more valuable than a Canelo win?

This isn't rhetorical. Please answer this.

Pascal hadn't done anything at that point. He hadn't won a world championship yet. You only know his name because of what he did with Dawson and Hopkins.

Canelo is the WBC champion albeit a vacant title.

It becomes so clear that some fans are enamored with "names" and not accomplishments.

King and Arum COUNT on this. Its how they sell **** to the masses.

And suckers fall for the dumb **** EVERY time.

I don't mind the match up one bit and I would order it...but I know Canelo does nothing that will give Mayweather problems and I think it would be Mayweather vs Baldomir all over again

lol, and floyd doesn't either? you're the sucker around here.

who cares what he had done? it was two underfeated young hungry talented fighters. pascal had a damn good amateur career and he has proven to be a beast in the ring? I mean, did you see the fight? it's pretty obvious both guys were gonna be world class. and canelo's similar fight was what again? or are you never ever gonna answer, mr smoke and mirrors?

in fact, your comparison with this argument is soooooooo fawkin ****** because you could say it about ANYONE that came up with a good record? lol. you're such a clown. you look at rankings and records, never the actual fighter themselves, which is how I know you don't know shi t. plus you contradict yourself all day every day. what in canelo's career so far makes you think he'll be brought up the way froch was? was it the alfonso gomez fight or the jose miguel cotto fight that makes you think he'll go in as tough as froch being that he's already 10 fights deeper in his career than froch and the comp level isn't even close to close to close.

ooooh, frascisco bojado was a young lion too, so was chad dawson, maybe they are more examples of what canelo might be as well

I didn't expect either of them to ever win a world Title after that fight.

                    Pascal is garbage.
