Cotto could win. However if Mayweather comes in the form that he has consistently come in, it is unlikely barring a lucky punch that really, really rocks Floyd's computer.
I've seen Floyd rocked by Chop Chop. It doesn't matter what rank you are when you're in the ring. It only matters that you do our best and come to win.
I'm not sure that Cotto has that killer instinct every match. I've watch him get drawn in and significantly hurt by much lesser fighters. He's not the counter puncher that he wishes he was, and without a willingness to take charge early on Cotto's chances are cut in half.
