I don't want to hear about how he was on ESPN almost two years ago or how he was on Manny's undercard let's see him establish himself as a tempting fight to make for Donaire with wins over guys at 122 that can get him some recognition. Is that too hard to ask for?

until then he is fighter with immense talent but little else going for him
He just KTFO a champ at a weight donaire is trying to establish himself at.

Donaire fought a bunch of stiff and way smaller fighters till he got to Montiel. So act like Donaire have been through a tough road or something.

Why he fought Narvaes who nobody knows who the **** he is? Ill tell you way, because it was a mismatch.

Donaire is on the same boat as Martinez have 2 good wins, 1 in spectacular fashion and thats it.

I think they should fight, but Donaire has a point Rigondeux ran like crazy when he got tagged against that dude in his fight before last.

Nonita fights guys that make his blood boil not the ones that make his balls shrink. Perfectly understandable.

Yes, less meaningful than Arce, WVjr, Juanma/Gamboa and Nishioka who are proven champs.

A 10-0 calling out Champs is normal. But suggesting that he should be next is preposterous.

you really think Ramos was a deserving champion? we all know how he got to the title (Haymon if you don't know)

and even in that fight he looked awful before one punching Shimoda

you really rest your hat on that?

hmm if you are referring to the Sidorenko fight how come it's okay for a guy like Moreno to fight him at bantamweight (twice, one of them a SD) yet not okay for Donaire?

well I could tell you but would you care?

              I would say

              Raul Martinez
              Hernan Marquez
              Sidorenko
              Darchinyan
              Montiel

              are all good wins

That's a pretty good point Chups... If Donaire was already fighing hugely popular guys.

And to the one who said it's more if a Floyd move...think about it. Floyd's been at the top for what, 10 years or so now? And lets not act like Donaire has been fighting these cash cows lol.

Still though I'll give Donaire some benefit of the doubt. He should just move up and fight Gamboa. <__<...like that would happen. I could see Donaire at super feather with his size and if he goes the Pac route, I could even picture him at 140...but then he wouldn't be the biggest soooo... Don't bet on that kind if ambition

Rigo needs to establish himself first. He just won a title. And he needs to have the public clamouring for a fight and the only way to do that is to stp having so many boring moments in his fights and take charge. Then the fight can happen.

but a case can be made that Donaire is the biggest name out there below 126 so while they are at different level of success Donaire is the fighter everyone seems to want to fight below 126

why? because a fight with him can bring his opponents the most coin

so indeed while they are on different levels Donaire IMO does have a say in who he should fight

So he's another Pacquiao who wants to fight guys who suit his style instead of trying to fight the best.
