So Rigo is a star now? When the fkkkk did a guy who can only punch with 1 hand only become a star. This mudda****a threw 7 punches in a row with one hand, that shows that he has absolutely no power in his right hand and this guy has close to 300 amatuer fights, goes to show about his competion, pretty weak.

Dude needed a headbutt to beat a bum who was gonna make him look really bad after 12 rounds. Rigo is a Hype Job, and he should be happy that Donaire doesn't spank that whack a$$.

If that's the case then Rigo should move up 2 weight classes and fight the monsters up there right away.Donaire makes bones about it,he is moving up up in weight into uncharted territory. He ain't going to fight the best right away.Manny did that when he moved up to fight Morales and Marquez.

I would love to see Rigo fight Donaire after Guillermo gets at least another three fights under his (championship) belt, so I'm in no hurry for this match-up to become reality. The fight should happen in due time; Nonito is indicating that he's not rushing to 126. After "El Chacal" strengthens his grip on 122, Donaire will have a harder time rationalizing why he shouldn't be fighting Rigo.

            100%, brother
            i always like your posts.

rigondeaux is going to have to force the issue by winning.
it's been the case before with fighters who are that good, that unhearalded, that much of a southpaw (lol!)

            pull a hagler
keep winning until they've got no choice but to get in the ring with you

plenty of great fighters have gone that rout.

rigondeaux has it all working against him
not to mention he's 31 years old

we're probably going to find out how good or great he is, because he's going to have to be willing to fight all comers. he will not have the luxury of choice. or time

He hasn't impressed you yet? lol so Guillermo wins the super bantamweight title in his 9th fight with a KO of an undefeated champion? He was in all likelihood the best amateur fighter ever in boxing....and he has not impressed you yet Nonito? So what exactly impressed you about Omar Narvaez to get in the ring with him lol? I like Nonito but this statement means Guillermo is too good to get in the ring with, in reality. He knows he is as fast and as skilled, if not more than he is so he wants no part.

I agree with Donaire. The Creole Cuban looked good against Ramos, but Ramos is a Scrub who is afraid to get Hit. Against Cordoba, the Cuban was Running round the Ring avoiding any contact acting like it was the Olympics...and i Think we can all Agree that Donaire is Much Better than Cordoba. Rigo is a Decent Fighter but Let him Beat some Good before we put him in the Ring with The Flash

I see everyone mad at this, but when the fight actually happens, everyone will claim HBO overpayed for Donaire-Rigondeaux when it turns out to be a snoozer and they both look sloppy and ordinary....revisionists ....kinda like Bradley-Alexander
