how do you explain the inactivity against Ramos then? this was a guy who literally jumped out of his skin every time Rigo threw a punch yet Rigo sat there and waited way too patiently to get him out of there.

    • Rigondeaux is a patient fighter, he isn't a go get you type guy even if a guy is scared to death of him he will do his thing.

To me that is a trap though because against certain type of guys he will not look that impressive with that appraoch, other more aggressive guys would kill such opposition, but as he fights guys more willing to fight he will look better.

Just who he is, in some situations that could cost him like if he has to throw caution to the wind to come from behind, but in most fights being a cool customer pays off.

      • Donaire is a joke....and so are his upcoming fights against Vazquez and Arce.

Rigo should face Nishioka, become the #1 guy and just wait for guys like Mares, Moreno, Darchinyan, and Agbecko to move up (which should happen soon) and build his name that way.

        • Anybody here sees the Pinoy and Arum angle has that innate distaste. Cool down kool aid drinkers! Marinate these two in about two more big fights in that div they should be ready for a superfight. I just don't see that superfight status right now between Donaire and Rigo.
