actually sorry, that was a whole bunch of silly questions. you obviously have no clue about rigondeaux- you compared him to jacobs. jacobs who has never won anything beyond an american title and got sparko'd against pirog.

you think winning gold medals in two consecutive olympic games, and everything else he's won along the way, is not much? you do realise he's a world champion in his 9th pro bout and basically scared his opponent into not throwing a shot in the process right?
      jesus.
what you said about rigo is commone knwoldege around here..but who gives a **** about amateur?....abdulaev beat cotto in the ams only to get stopped in the pros...viloria beat the doniare brothers , you think he'd beat nontio now?...lol

and look , im not sayin he's not good but putting him with nonito ,or gamboa is being rididclous given the opposition he has faced....it's too early for that type of talk....

well it's something YOU don't quite seem to get even if it is common knowledge.
look at how gold medal winners get on in the pros. most do pretty damn well eh? two time gold medal winner, touted as best amateur ever? means a little more than jacobs winning the golden gloves does it not?
you do also realise that rigondeaux has done pretty well thus far in the pro ranks- we're not talking 'oh well great amateur therefore probably a great pro' here- he is PROVING himself to be a great pro.
who's donaire supposed to have faced that compares to rigondaux, honestly?

do you know what common knowledge is?....what you said is like " fire is hot or water is wet"....lol

the only comparison im making between jacobs and rigo is the hype they got and getting without having proven much....im aware that jacobs has never been a world champion...but then agin he was'nt fighting a ramos sared to throw" caliber fighter either...

my point is you cannot use your amateur backgaround to jusify greatness in the pros...pros is a whole new ball game homeboy and in that rigo has not much...

So......when do you want Nonito to fight Rigo??? When Rigo is 33-34 years old??? Rigo is 31. Check my timeline.

                After Vasquez......

                Donaire-Arce in June/July 2012
                Rigondeaux-Nishioka in June/July 2012

                Donaire-Rigondeaux in October/November 2012

What's the problem??? Is it that you don't want Nonito to fight Guillermo???

haha touche @ TS. to me, it's typical top rank BS: protect the cash cow/future investment. i don't care how untested or "green" rigondeaux is...he's giving donaire problems. he hasn't fought anyone as defensively and offensively balanced as rigo...especially at that weight. i wanna see that fight. i don't care about seeing donaire fight arce.

give me rigo vs donaire with montiel vs arce on the undercard and if arce wins that one then maybe.

if donaire isn't gonna fight rigondeaux after vazquez then he should just move up because i think donaire wails on nishioka
