and 30,000 extra seat x 1000 = 30 million would imply that X number of extra seats can be multiplied with the ******ed average you came up with and it will = the total gate the fight will generate
and your estimation would still be waaay off because all of the extra tickets will cost significantly less then the average ticket price anyway

All I know is that Pac-Marg live gate did 6mil in a huge stadium(Cowboys stadium)
And, Pac-Mosley live gate did 8mil in the very small MGM arena.

The Math definately doesn't add up anyway you cook it. It will be $10mil more max in actually profit, if that.
I think it comes down to Arum's ego and the fact that he doesn't want this much awaited superfight to be done on Floyds date at Floyds venue.
Arum wants to be the man that put the fight together, that made it happen, we can only hope Manny tells him to pull his head in and just make the fight.

since we dont know the ticket prices for the future pac vs floyd fight, we' re just gonna use the numbers from the hoya vs floyd fight, can you atleast do that?...
then compare that to arums number....

But if you want to put any sort of relevance into your argument and use the DLH vs Mayweather ticket prices, you would have to calculate the extra seats out of the cheapest ones. Because it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to make the additional seats close to the ring. It can't be done.
If you took the gross for Oscar vs Floyd fight and put it into a stadium instead, you would add the 20-30k extra tickets out of the cheapest tickets. Not the average for the entire arena as the seats will not be spread on anything but in one category.
Average ticket price would mean you expand everything equally and that's just not happening unless you want to split atoms.
Cliffnotes: The extra seats will not be spread anywhere but on the outer sections. Those will be cheap. You can't use the average for the entire arena to calculate the extra seats revenue.
That is all. I'm done with the thread. Take the reasoning or disregard it, but my time is not worth this ****.
