ok, here ...let me just ask you a simple thing (concerning what you said)

you said the right way to get the average ticket price is by diving the total gross by the number of tickets sold (and i agree IF you know the total gross)..

now, all im asking you is ,do the computation (the one that you said is right) to get the average ticket price...using the given NUMBERS by the TS..simple right?...lets see

your solution was this: total gross / number of ticket sales = average ticket price...now, show me using the numbers given by the ts....

Total gross = $40,000,000 total ticket sales = 25,000 divide them and you get $1,600 per ticket. How the hell are they going to sell the worse seats in the house for $1,600 each?

You claim to be good at math right? Here is some basic algebra. Your unknown variable is the price for each additional ticket. Your known quan****** are the number of tickets and the gross revenue. Solve for your unknown variable. I'll even set up the equation for you. 25,000 (X)= $40,000,000 solve for X and tell me what you get.

here: 40, 000 seats........6 ticket prices (we are gonna use floyd vs hoya fight numbers) $2000, 1500, 1000, 750 ,350 and 150

lets say there are equallly the same seats for each ticket price...
so 40, 000 seats / 6 ticket prices = 6,600 seats per ticket price...right?..

ok..
$2000 x 6,600 seats = 13,200,000
$1500 x 6600 seats = 9,900,000
$1000 x 6600 seats = 6,600,000
$750x 6600 seats = 4, 950,000
$350x 6600 seats = 2,310,000
$150 x 6600 seats = 990,000
total of 37, 950,000

now, this is based on the tcoket prices for the floyd vs hoya fight...
i think it's safe to say that with the pac vs floyd fight , the ticket prices will be higher, wont you belive so?...

use your imagination man...
