Yeah I'd say this is a rough estimate

    1) The tickets from the higher prices will be a fraction of the amount of tickets for the cheaper seats.

    2) It seems like you're trying to figure out what the live gate will gross total. That's not the question here.
Bob Arum states they would make $40mm PLUS what they would be making at MGM = $60mm.

So the first $20mm will be made roughly the same on both venues. The rest need to come from the additional BAD AND FAR FROM THE RING seats.

God bless you Puga. I will send a donation to http://www.soschildrensvillages.org....ia/philippines in hopes the next generation of Pugas wont have to resort to this.

    Good night, and good luck.

maybe, but unless you can provide all of the ticket prices, there's nothing i can do about it but work with what we know....thats why it is called rough estimate...

This is not my homework. I am a Econ major at UC Berkeley and my last math class was integral calculus. If you see my homework you would **** yourself.

Because the extra space is made out of "the bad seats". You can't just throw in extra seats close to the ring or floor as those spots are already accounted for.
Your argument is identical to trying to expand your house by pitching tents in the living room. It won't get you anymore space.

But the expensive tickets will be roughly the same as at MGM. We don't need an average of those.

Here, i painted you a picture since words can't seem to get through.

Okay, do you see the black rectangle? That would be the approximate area of the ring + ringside seats. You do understand now, that this space can't get larger, right?

                    Ok moving on.

Next you see the green colored lines. Those are the seats MGM currently can facilitate.

Now, how do we increase the amount of seats?
We would have to build sections higher up, and further back.
A raw approximation would be the pink colored lines. Those would be the "extra seats" added when building this stadium.

Do you now see how the excess 20-30k seats will be of the cheapest kind?
Sure there may be some VIP box here and there, but those sums are practically irrelevant in the full scope of things.

So no. We don't need an average ticket price to calculate the approximated income on these newly added seats. We can safely assume they will be mostly (almost exclusively) of the cheapest kind.
So Puga, you would pay $1000.00 for pink seats?

The purpose of a debate is not to convince your opponent. It is to convince those who are watching that you are right. You have lost this debate back on page 3.
