for **** sake you mumbling moron, the pink seats are what bob arum plans to make the extra 40 million from. He says he can build a stadium that will make $40 million + the $20 million that MGM would have netted.

Have we not gone through this? If he builds a stadium identical to MGM (even for free) it would result in a net profit of absolutely nothing. (unless you want to use quantitative methods, but lets not)

So in order to get ADDITIONAL VALUE upon the capacity that MGM already grants, we can only count the extra profit from the EXTRA SPACE generated by the bigger stadium.

THAT EXTRA SPACE is almost exclusively made up from the pink colored area in my picture.

We do not ****ing need the average ticket price for the entire arena. We need the average ticket for the additional section built. Which is the cheapest tickets in the house.

Don't believe that bs from Arum about each fighter getting an extra 20 million each if they fight in an outdoor stadium.

Do you really think Arum is going to pay Pacquiao a guaranteed purse, give him an extra 20 million, give him a percentage of the live gate, sponsors, and PPV sales?

How much was the live gate for the Pacquiao vs. Margarito fight in Texas?

If Arum was really telling the truth then he would have the fight outside the US and build an outdoor stadium. I am sure a royal family would pay and front the money for the fight. He can demand a site fee of 20-30 million and the live gate would generate an extra 20-30 million.

Arum and Pacquiao only said they would guaranteed his purse and not Floyd. They said for Floyd to go find himself another promoter that would guaranteed him his purse. Why would Arum say this if he really wanted to get the fight done? Wouldn't it make sense to split the profits between two promoters (TR and Floyd) instead of three promoters and he would take way more money?
