We have done so several times. Out of the additional 25000 tickets, to make 40 million on top of the 20 thats already being generated by seats compared to MGM, the average ticket needs to cost $1600.

What you don't seem to understand is that to make the stadium hold another 25000 compared to MGM you need to build seats further away. Otherwise it will be just the same as MGM and net the exact same amount.

So we take the MGM-capacity and it's money generated and put that aside. Lets call this the MGM pile.

Now the extra 25000 seats built will be of worse quality than those that generated the money in the "MGM pile". So therefore these 25000 will be the cheapest.
We already know that the MGM pile contains roughly $20,000,000 , and we need $40,000,000 from the 25000 bad seats we built. We therefore need to sell them for $1600 a pop.
Does that sound reasonable to sell those extra tickets for $1600 a piece despite being worse than the ones closer to the ring that cost $150~ ?

So in short, the extra 25000 seats have NOTHING to do with the other seats. You don't have to calculate their average or their gross. You only need to calculate how much money you need to sell the new bad tickets for in order to make 40,000,000. And that is $1600 per ticket on average for the NEW SEATS only.

It's not even worth putting mind to. Doing mathematics and analyzing the confusion he spews, means that you may not know that this guy is making excuses. I'm not paying any mind to what Bob Arum is saying because I know it's all lies. If he wanted the fight to happen, he wouldn't be highlighting why it can't happen, it would be about why it can happen. It's like what he said about Marquez. He flew in with his lawyer team and they made it happen. If they really wanted that fight, that's what would've happened.
