I dont see how Rocky gets close to Ali before being hit 10 times and tied up. And Lewis found Frank Bruno's jab a challenge. I just dont see him having what it takes too deal with the speed, work rate and accuracy of Ali. Lewis only fought in spurts compared to a prime Ali.
Not surprised by people saying Lewis, but I think Ali would win comfortably, not easily but by a good margin. Marciano I can't see at all. He would get beat up.

Yes there are many who would be favoured to beat Ali depending on who you ask. Liston was expected to beat Ali, as was Foreman. So if them 2 were favoured so it would be normal to assume other great heavyweights on good runs would be expected to beat him. Whether they would is another topic altogether though.

Tyson when he was ripping through the heavy division would have been favourite against Ali and depening on who you ask. Thats just how it is.

Before the Liston fight, Ali was a young guy getting his first title shot. Before Foreman, Ali was past prime and had lost two fights in his comeback. Neither of those guys would obviously be favored now to beat prime Ali, and I don't think anyone should be.

BTW, Tyson gets embarrassed against Ali. He would have lost the fight before they even stepped in the ring.

It depends on who you ask. SOme people dont rate Ali as highly as others which you must take into account.

Some people think Tyson at his best and on his day and peak would have beat Ali.

In the pre fight buildup, Tyson would have probably attacked Ali with him popping off like he always did.

I think it would have been a hell of a matchup, similar to the Frazier epics.
I rate Ali high, but to me he was beaten at his best and was not the myth that everyone makes him out to be. The power of suggestion had a lot to do with his all time ranking in my opinion. He said he was the greatest so many times that eventually it became an accepted thing.

And? Ali wasn't intimidated by Sonny Liston or George Foreman, what would intimidate him about Mike Tyson?

Nobody could touch Ali in his prime IMO. Between his height advantage, constant movement, and big right hand any competitor would find himself quickly overtaken by a heavyweight with middleweight quickness and a laser hook.

Ali was not beaten at his best which further shows your ignorance.

Ali beat Frazier, Foreman, and Liston. That's a fact. Not "power of suggeststion." Power of suggeststion is when you fantasize that Vitali beats Ali and every great heavyweight easily. Fantasy not fact.
