No, again I'm not speaking about the court date. But, no he has had a hold on a date before. March 13, 2010 to be exact. Which made Pac go to Dallas. And, then Floyd fought on May 1st instead. there was no liability of a loss at all.

He just has it on hold. In reality there is no contract if there is no opponent. Just like MGM held the March 13, 2010 date for him. Floyd can easily move the date like he did then. However, why should he? And, plus I don't know about the court situation.

let me break it down for some of you hardcore pacquiao fans that are too ****** to realize how the judicial system works....


mayweather jail sentence was delayed due to the contract obligation of the date of may 5th... you want the date moved, you better go see the judge whom already has received heat for delaying his sentence and wants no longer to be bother with this crap ( trust me, judges get pissed over this ****)... mayweather would have to see the judge again if the date is changed....


how about instead of dealing with that we just make the ****** fight for may 5th, if im not mistaken this is the last stumbling block.... out of all things in the past, this fight wont get made over the ***in date?!!!.... really?!?!?

i dont care if you are a mayweather fan or a pacquiao fan, if this fight doesnt get made over the date not being move to 3 weeks, i hope you guys both drop this whole blaming one fighter and just tell both to *** off

As much as I would root for Manny in this fight, it is very clear that Bob Arum does not want this fight at this point. First of all, he knows Floyd is going to jail on June 1 so he would like to spend the final few weeks with his family. Second, there is no reason why he needs to demand late May if it will be at the MGM. Manny already said he could fight on May 5. And third, now he is demanding a 50/50 split after Manny publicly said he would take less money to make the fight. Although 50/50 is fair for this fight, why would he demand this when Manny is not?
I am convinced more than ever that Bob Arum is no longer good for boxing and at the age of 80 should let his stepson, Todd Debouf, take over the family business.

Didnt Floyd already say the MGM is fixed for May 5th? Arum wants to change the date cause he knows Floyd would not be able to fight if its not on May 5th. The US justice system posponed his jail sentence because of his booking of the May 5th date. Arum is full of **** till the end i just hope this time around the media dont blame Floyd again. Only way this fight is a possibility is if the media keep putting pressure on Pacquiao and Bob Arum. Im still trying to find out how his promoter ended up being his boss. I also have a feeling that Pacquiao is aware of Bob's lies and is playing along with it. Theres too much evidence over the 3 year course supporting that.

Seriously, **** Bob Arum. He's bringing down this fight. There's no reason for this fight not to happen on May 5.
