Great move by cotto, and i suppose you can become your own boss once you have multi million dollars in the bank...it's all good. Could we see a Mayweather vs Cotto fight coming up? Maybe Cotto vs Canelo? the possibilities are mouth watering!

Pacq vs Floyd is a mismatch in Floyd favor but people want to see it.

              LOL @ comparing a Floyd-Cotto fight to a Floyd-Pacquiao fight.

Let me see one fight is irrelevant and insignificant while the other one is relevant and significant.

Floyd beats Cotto he beat a guy who has foot outside the door. Floyd beats Pac and is arguably depending on how he wins the greatest win of his career.

              It's not the same thing.

Because with that fight weve entered a phase where there is just too much involved. Fanboi war, race war, nationalaty war, money, 3 year build up, p4p 1 and 2 getting it on, etc etc.

Cotto doesnt really bring any of that drama if he fights Floyd.

I personally dont really care for the fight anymore. I rather see Sergio fight Floyd.

Edit: Also with the Floyd Pac fight even though its viewed as a mismatch, people still see a glimmer of hope in an upset with Manny winning, he has made miracles happen before and shocked people.

With Cotto, not so much. What you see is what you get. No one is really giving him any chance in winning that fight. He may be able to hold his own for 12 rounds, but thats it.

Explain why is it a good fight? Because, this is a fight that you wanted to see back in 07/08? Does that mean is still a good fight today? What's good about it? What relevance or significance does it have for the sport?

I'm all for lets prove it in the ring...But, Cotto at this stage of his career what is Floyd really going to prove against him?

You have to be either a big Floyd fan or a big Cotto fan to really think this is a good match if it happens.

It's a waste of time. LOL @ "aren't boxing fans" GTFOH.

I bet you brought Mayweather-Ortiz and that was an even bigger mismatch. Mayweather will be favored against anyone. If your a fan of Boxing, then you wouldn't mind a fight with Cotto. We all wanna see Pac but if no Pac, why not Cotto??? Wtf!

How is it a mismatch? Cotto only has trouble with pressure fighters which Floyd is not. Cotto has never lost to a boxer. On top of that Floyd hasn't looked good recently, if I remember correctly ortiz did land some good shots right before he went night night from the suckerpunch. Floyd looked good against old and undersized opponents de la hoya was way past his prime and could have pulled it out if he didn't tire at the end, Marquez was to small and wasn't used to fighting at 147, he is a great at 130, Ricky hatton was a small one dimensional fighter who also had to come up in weight and Had already looked suspect at 147 vs Luis collazo. Mosley was old but still managed to rock Floyd 2 times but tired himself out that round. I feel cotto poses a real problem for Floyd because cotto can box well or ****. Just remember Floyd went to puerto Rico to meet with cotto a while
back. I bet he told cotto to leave tr so they can fight and make
some real money. My prediction if it happens is cotto by split decision
