I support Gamboa all the way...but I think people are rating him more on what he POTENTIALLY COULD DO and not necessarily based on what he has done (which is mostly just Knockout/Beat C Level Fighters) even his next fight...Rocky Juarez? that guys is on a 5 Fight losing Streak Right Now...that fight does absolutely nothing for him but allow him to possible score an impressive looking KO fighting at Super Featherweight

For real life that's true, but for a sport, when he beats guys exactly as dominantly as he is supposed to, which he mostly does, I'd say he's rated the way he should be.

No he is P4P based on his kills and who he's beaten. We will see if Ward is over rated when he annihilates Bute if/when they fight. The only SMW I could see being competitive with Ward is Andre Dirrell.

Ward is not dominating his opponents contrary to popular belief. Ward does have his holes in his game that are waiting to be exploited. At the beginning of 2011, it was certainly David Lemieux. He was the "next big thing" at middleweight, with all his knockouts and undefeated record, and he got stopped by Rubio and outpointed by Alcine in his only two fights this year.


As we begin 2012, I'd have to say Adrien Broner. He's been guided toward a paper belt against limited opposition, and he's got an entourage of people combing his hair during intros and all that. Lemieux had faced tougher opposition coming up than Broner has, and Lemieux was overrated. So Broner certainly fits the bill.

Ward might not have the best style but besides him and Froch who has fought the most strong opposition and came out victorious?
