Bernard Hopkins now is probably alot better than these upcoming fighters...
It's more of who's overrated right now, and I agree with you mostly. The Pascal win, which was trashed in the other post, that was a good win. Not all-time great or a crazy good win, but not an alright or average win either. Pascal was pretty highly regarded going into his fights with Bernard and Hopkins established himself as the top LHW in the world by beating him. Pascal is a good fighter. Yes, Pascal lost to Froch, but is there shame in losing to Carl Froch now, just because he was beat by Ward???? Froch is a good fighter as well, and just because Pascal lost to him doesn't mean he wasn't any good. Pascal came back a few fights later, and beat Dawson when he was unbeaten, and Pascal had established himself as the LHW to beat.

So, with Hopkins beating Pascal, that was a good win. I do think Bernard looked a little slower and his reflexes seemed off those 2 rounds with Dawson, so it'll be interesting to see what Bernard does in 2012. He should retire, but I doubt he wants to go out with the Dawson thing as a lasting impression. In my opinion, Hopkins should either fight Dawson, or go fight Cleverly and Cloud, 2 solid LHW that are top fighters at that weight.

Floyd Mayweather....hes talented but overhyped! Just imagine, only fought once a year! last outing suckerpunchin to victory an unknown, non-p4p caliber ,quitter opponent then he was elevated by mongrels as their no. 1 on the presumption that he beat JMM badly and Pac had a hard time on him....SMH!

manny pacroid wins this one by a landside!!! here is a guy who has made a career off cherry-picking and beating weight-drained shot opponents and gets credit for it.....to top it off he recently got his ass whooped by a 40yr old career feather-weight.
