    ^yeah that too!

Boxing is behind MMA in American right now, other then Mayweather, Americans really don't give a **** about any other American fighter and the only reason why they care about Pacquiao is because in America they love a Possible Hero (Pacquiao) that can possibly take down The Villain (Mayweather) and so many Casual Boxing fans have been Brainwashed into believing he can lol

You should be punched in the face for comparing Ricky Hatton to Tim Bradley. Hatton had power he stopped Kostya, Castillo, Malinaggi etc. Bradley couldn't hurt a fly with his hands.

he's popular with boxing fans but boxing as a sports can't thrive with just boxing fans alone. you've got to lure in the casual fans but unfortunately for ward he doesn't have the style and personality to trigger interests from casuals.

Because boxing isn't popular in America. There are way to many things people would rather be entertained by then boxing most of which i think is garbage.

Because boxing isnt that popular to begin with and he's in a division people dont care about(the super & light moniker of divisions) plus hes not KOing people to really gain any big mainstream success, I think the biggest fight he could get is Bernard Hopkins or Sergio Martinez. Maybe Chavez Jr if he miraculously defeats rubio and defies the laws of reality by beating martinez too.

Mayweather is the total package and people can't see this.

Floyd's personality, style, ring entrances, etc are all part of his villain-like persona. Villains sell.

Andre Ward is not a villain, the complete opposite, he's a devoted Christian, well-wisher even to those who speak ill of him, and his style is that of a boxer who really doesn't want to hurt any one, just does it as a sport. Just score points, win rounds. Doesn't look to me like he goes out there and tries really hard to get the KO or swing for the fences.
