Lack of publicity. Personally I think he is great and with proper marketing is the future of boxing. I just don't see anyone out there capable of beating him but we live in a world where publicity does not always get behind the most worthy.

he use the same style Hatton used when people in the UK was calling Hatton "THE GREATEST" Hatton did a ton of CLINCHING and Pushing to get on the inside of his opponents

me personally I never had a problem with Hatton style, but I do see a double standard, it is OK when Khan and George Groves RUN during a match Like Khan did against Peterson and like Groves did against DeGales, they called it "fighting smart" and "Sticking and Moving" for them...but when Dirrell did it against Froch, they called it "RUNNING"

Hatton fights inside and clinches and was called "TOUGH AND RUGGED"...Ward and Bradley does it, they get called "DIRTY" and "BORING"

so no question it is a double standard as far s Styles Go, does Race plays a factor...for some with a 1960's mentality and a Inferiority Complex...ABSOLUTELY! then you have some who are just bias to their Fellow Countrymen

as for Ward Popularity...with respect to Goossen/Tutor which is a decent Promotion...but they are not as big as Golden Boy or Top Rank, I don't think they have the Power or the Connections to make him a more Popular, trying to remember if Goossen/Tutor ever really built up a HUGE SUPERSTAR in boxing In The Past...I could be wrong but I don't think so, I guess you could say James Toney...but Toney was never a "MEGASTAR" or a HUGE DRAW in boxing, everybody is not going to become as big of a Draw as Pacquiao or Mayweather...it is not going to happen...Regardless, Ward can still make a Ton Of Money and go down as one of the greatest without being a "Major PPV Draw"

I think it has to do with his race, Yeah definitely his race. There is just something about a black American from America that Americans don't like.

Please don't call him boring cause that'll just make you a racist in my book!
because boxing isn't popular in america.

I thought his dead father was white. If that is the case he is as much white as he is black.

Andre Ward is being put on high standards by hardcore boxing fans once again.

Truth is, if you go to certain parts in Canada and ask who Lucian Bute is, some people probably wouldn't know. If you go where Bute is most popular in, like Quebec, he'll probably be known by everybody.

Andre Ward is no different, go to Oakland and ask who Andre Ward is and you'll probably have many people knowing who he is.

His power, his fanbase, his personality...all of these subjects are being overblown. No one but Abraham had a knock out in the Super 6. And the only knock down was the Dirrell knock down over Abraham. Froch who's only selling point of the fight was "I can knock you out, but you can't knock me out", looked like Joe Calzaghe in their throwing slaps, and the only clean blows he landed, didn't seem to even get Andre Ward's supposed "questionable chin"'s attention, even got a cheap right hand in when Ward was not aware of it, and Ward reacted to it like he's only been slapped by a girl.

"His personality is boring", please...he's black, if he had an "exciting" personality, he would get the Mayweather treatment. "Oh, I hate him cause he's an a$$hole. I don't like his personality, he has to be more humble like Pac".

Boxing fans are mostly full of shit. More than half of you don't even know what you're truly complaining about.
