Why isn't Ward popular in America?

    Why isn't Ward popular in America?

    Despite Ward having by far the strongest resume at 168 and winning the S6 and DOMINATING his opponents with ease why isn't he a superstar in America?


    I think it has to do with his race, Yeah definitely his race. There is just something about a black American from America that Americans don't like.


    Please don't call him boring cause that'll just make you a racist in my book!

      He's popular in Oakland. Just because the Super Six did **** in AC doesn't mean he's a draw everywhere. They need to build him up. Beating Bute could do that, but the reason Bute has such a following is because he fights at home practically every fight. It's not a knock on Bute either, his promotional team have done a good job of building him up.

      The fights against Green and Kessler did well in Oakland and they need to build off of that in 2012.

                      its real simple man....he's garbage...that holding headbutting style he has is depressing to watch...yeah right now he's the bomb with the hardcore boxing fans, but being a boxer and having meanstream appeal with that horrific style ain't happenin no time soon...
