Is Mayweather the most well-rounded fighter ever?

lol Pep more well-rounded than Floyd. And you're calling Floyd a one-dimensional defensive specialist?
Saddler LOOOOOOOL.
Just stop.Comment

I know exactly what you are saying. I'll agree to disagree. If Roy were 150 lbs, he would have annihilated Floyd. That's all that really needs to be said. You're still confusing athleticism with ring generalship. Manny Pacquiao boxed the shit out of a stiff like David Diaz and Margarito because his athleticism allowed it. It doesn't make him a ring general or a pure boxer.
...and whats this about employing a more crowd pleasing fight plan? Mayweather has gotten more defensive as he has gotten older and moved up in weight, he no longer fights like he used to.Comment

Sorry Junior but you FAIL yet again: Pep let his hands go far more often than Floyd does. Hell, Pep even threw combinations, something Floyd hasn't done in more than 10 years. Saddler? Saddler was a classic boxer-puncher so once again that's a FAIL.Comment

Saddler was not a boxer puncher. He was all move forward and take one to give one. You're a trip.Comment

you think mosley is some great win?
in his very next fight he fought a draw with sergio mora (i had him losing, but i was on a stream and i refuse to watch that fight again on principal alone. a draw sounds find to me. it's still sergio mora, who would lose HIS next fight to BRIAN FLIPPIN VERA)
and then laid an egg against pacquiao?
shane mosley was certainly far beyond his best during that fight
he was coming off of a huge layoff (almost a year and a half,)
a "huge win" over a guy who hasnt hurt a fly since he was busted with loaded gloves
there's nothing idiotic about knowing that shane mosley was well beyond his best days in the mayweather fight. hell, if you follow him in the least it should jump right out at you. he cant pull the trigger to save his life. he had one good round, and then he started to think about his vacation after the fight
do you guys simply align yourself with some fighter and then blindly defend everything he does, regardless of the truth in the matter?Comment

This guy is just a **** talker.
A real fan would have said something substantial by now.
He doesn't reply as much as he just further comments on what's going on in his feeble mind.
He's a waste of time.Comment

A huge lay off? He was getting ready for Berto and Floyd stepped in instead. And you're acting like Floyd is so active during all of this lolyou think mosley is some great win?

boxing has too rich and long a tradition for floyd to even come close to being the most well rounded fighter in history. Floyd is the most well rounded fighter of recent time but not in history. Ray Leonard is more well rounded than Floyd. Salvador Sanchez is another one. Ricardo Lopez and Charley Burley are others that are more well rounded.
When you say the most well rounded you have to have the perfect blend of offense and defense. Floyd is far too defensive to ever take the title of most well rounded boxer ever. Not even close. This is the classic case of being prisoner of the moment. The latest is the greatest. Far from it.Comment
