Why did Burley say that the money situation was the reason and if he was in Ray shoes he would have done the same thing?

Man STFU. I never knew a Gretzky fan could be such a ***head.

Floyd has no offense right? Yeah, ok. are you going solely on his 147 lb fights? Because at 130 I can't find a fighter more well-rounded than he.

not only has he never seen the man fight, he has not even been to his boxrec

i am sorry if i'm insulting people
threads like these are literally all i can take
i've put a lot into boxing. a lot. thousands of hours.

i've been reading books about boxing since i was a little ****ing kid
          a little kid
i amassed a huge fight collection on two PC's over the latter half of the 90's that was completely destroyed when my (now my parents,) house was hit by lightning.
luckily now i have Youtube for that

the guys are still little kids
and they arent even reading the books or watching the fights

they will ahve to pardon me for taking it personal
it's literally all i can take when these punks have the audacity to insult all of the time i spend in this sport by calling me out (calling me an idiot, more appropriately, i have no problems with a disagreement. boxing is inherently subjective.)

You know what's funny.... Some how I feel that these guys would have been discrediting the same guys they are touting now had they been alive at the time. They're just cut from that cloth.

Especially Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali.

Then obviously you aren't looking hard enough or your boxing knowledge only goes back 10-15 years. Either way you're talking out of your ass.

And then when they both became established Ray still wouldn't fight him.

SRR might be the only guy you can put ahead of Floyd as well rounded goes. SRR had it all. But, Charles might have case and from what Futch and Moore said about Burley he might have a case as well.

No comparison to Hearns fighting at a higher weight to Floyd, at all. Floyd is terribly undersized. Had Hearns been hit by that right hand he'd have been sleeping for days.
