A defensive specialist cant be well rounded Anus ... See Winky Wright.
Sorry but no-sale. Winky had very little offense: By definition that is NOT "well rounded". You can try and spin it in whatever way your nuthuggery nakes your nips hard but the bottom-line is a one-dimensional defensive specialist by definition is not "well rounded" (I recommend you look up the term one-dimensional in your handy OED).

I like them all. But they have flaws and their opponents have been able to use it to their advantage.
The man systematically breaks people down. He lures them into thinking they are going to have success with their plan then he finds flaws in the plan and then they have no plan.

No I agree, there is a very good case to be made for Floyd being the most well-rounded ever IMO. For what it's worth, I'd take the best Mayweather over Arguello, Tunney and Duran at their best.

I'm sorry but You aren't making any sense now. You brought up the term because I said those guys got hit a lot. and the they lacked defense. Well defense is part of a total package. I am telling you what was missing from their arsenal and you jump to the one dimensional BS. You think mixing words makes you sound smart but I walk through smarty panties like you daily. Trust me. I could go on and on.

But I still like that you finish every paragraph with "Poet". That just tops everything off.

I am no bias fan of Floyd (I don't even own a poster). I actually didn't follow him all along. I was a bigger fan of Shane Mosely back then. The man is good. Pretty damn good. The best I have ever seen. Everyone knows it but not everyone can accept it.

Thanks. And that's all I'm saying. Not trying to challenge anyones education and all the dumb stuff. I'm just simply stating my case.

Watch the fights on you tube. Watch all of these guys and then watch tape on floyd. I've done it countless times

No, you're b1tching about one fighter's defense or your percieved lack thereof (more perceived on your part then actual in reality) and are instead holding up 0 offense fighters like Winky as an example of "well rounded". Why don't you just admit you have a bias for one-dimensional defensive specialists and jog the **** on instead of boring the **** out of us by trying desperately to redefine everything so you can claim something is it's opposite? (Not to mention your abysmal grammar that seems to compel you to leave out every other conjunction).

                Bhop

BHOP is more complete. Watch DLH v Mayweather and then DLH v Hopkins. To many Mayweather Nuthuggers. Mayweather is a defensive counter puncher, which he is great at, that does not mean he is well rounded. May cannot fight well moving forward, does not throw combos, doesn't fight with range to opponent as well. Footwork is sometimes flatfooted. Lost to Castillo. Mayweather fights with same style.

BHOP fights with many styles. Hunts you down like he did Pascal. Moves laterally like he did with Trinidad and Calzaghe. Defense, Offense, Counter Offense all great. Footwork great. Great game plans. Fights southpaws well, unlike floyd.

Are you talking about Floyd at WW? or Floyd overall. Because at 130, he did throw combos and he did fight going forward.

Isn't the point of 'boxing', to hit, and not get hit?
Hasn't Mayweather got this down to perfection?

I mean seriously, I don't understand where all this hate comes from. Sure Floyd can be annoying at times. But it's all innocent.

Wherever I go, I see people (casual fans, as well as hardcore) trying to **** on the guy's ability.

I think they'll all realise how special Mayweather is, after a few years, when he has retired.
And of course, their boy Manny gets whupped.
