Do you think if Floyd tried to pressure fight a Pac type or Duran type Floyd would do well as well then? Pac can box better than Floyd can pressure fight thats for sure.
My point is, Pac tried to box and he was unsuccessful. Floyd pressure fought against Mosley, Ortiz and Judah and did very well.

He pressure fought Marquez too, and did a better job than Pac did trying to box Marquez.

Pac boxes in many fights and is succesful, as was he in the JMM fight, he won.

Floyd dont pressure fight come on now. Even JMM said Floyd is all defense minded, no offense to speak of. If Floyd tried to duke it out with Pac do you think Floyd would win now? People are predicting Floyd will pot shot pac for 12 rounds!

Fact is, Floyd did better pressuring Marquez than Pac did outboxing Marquez.

          Floyd>Pac.

Absolutely. Bar None. The best to ever put on a pair of gloves. Like it or not but that's my opinion and I'm sure many others would agree.

              Offense is ridiculously economical
              Always in fighting shape

Anyone else that carries attributes in a way as adequate as Mayweather does?
              so your categories are
              power
              defense
              footwork
              ring generalship
              offense
              shape

              ?

then roy jones wins hands down, i dont know about the most well rounded fighter of all time, but definitely he's way ahead of floyd

Yes Roy is probably the other that comes to mind when I think of these attributes. I think floyd is a better boxer.

What on gods earth are you on about? Floyd did well pressurizing JMM? How about if Floyd tries pressure fighting a pressure fighter. JMM is not a pressure fighter. Pac did well boxing the boxer JMM. Floyd would lose against a pressure fighter like SRL did against Duran.
Floyd is not well rounded. Floyd can only be well rounded if you decide what the definition of well rounded is to suit floyd.
Hes got no power, he cant pressure fight. His footwork is great going backwards, but unknown quantity going forward chasing someone around the ring. But he dont need those does he? So yes i suppose he is pretty well rounded.

He had Ortiz backing up, he had Hatton backing up when he decided to put pressure on them.

Arguing that he has no power is ******, how many fighters have you seen walk through his punches? Don't worry I will wait. He can pressure fight, evidence in his fight against, Ortiz, Mosley, Hatton, Gatti, Ndou, Judah.

His footwork is great on the back foot and great going forward, when he is stalking his opponent around the ring how many punches do you see him walking into? It's like you cannot comprehend him effectively cutting off the ring, it's like you cannot comprehend that if his footwork was not great going forward his shoulder roll would be ineffective as he would essentially be left wide open.

If he wasn't well rounded he wouldn't be so great at adapting to fighters who step in the ring with him. He'd know the theory but lack the ability to pull of the necessary style.

                    Seriously.

Hugh is sounding like a bitter Hatton fan.
