Vitali Klitschko doesn't hold.. only when it's necessary like any other fighter when there's no room to punch.. Watch some of his fights.. he doesn't even give his opponents any chance to get close to him.. you know why.. it's because he's keeping them off of him by punching.. watch the Briggs & Adamek..FIGHTS & count how many times his opponent even got inside.. Vitali does NOT employ the hug & jab tactic his brother utilyzes because he's constantly throwing punches to keep his man at the distance he wants them at.A slugger is a fighter who is willing to take punishment in order to deliver his own punches. Would you say the Klitschko brothers are doing that? As far as I know, what they are doing is jabbing, using their reach, create distance, landing one-two combinations and clinching. That's NOT what a slugger does. So therefore those 2 shouldn't even be on your list to begin with.
As I wrote, Chavez is a prime example of what a slugger is. And no, he was never a flyweight in his pro career and you can't even possibly compare his power to those of those heavyweights on your list...Comment

Well when the other 42 times.. it wasn't necessary.. does that mean he has to be in 45 wars when he's got the skills to win in another fashion where his opponent doesn't come close to the toe to toe LINE to even test him... the few times it's happened he's proven to be effective.. even when it happened against Lewis.. he still threw & landed more punches than him in EVERY single rd.. so it's safe to say if you plan on hitting Vitali often.. be ready to get hit more often.. it's fullproof & 100% guaranteed that Vitali gets off his shots & will land more than his opponent at ANY distance you choose to keep as an opponent.. afterall he ONLY takes what you give him.Comment

Ok....name another boxer/puncher or whatever you want to call him who's retired the last 3 opponents he's ever faced.... i'll be waiting for your answer or spin.. whichever comes first?
Translation..... this means your last 3 opponents never stepping foot in a boxing ring after they faced you..... ok i'll give you another shot at it.
how about 4 of the last 12 opponents faced not going back to fight another day?
Every fighter can say they retired another fighter once by default.. but how many can say they've done it 3 in a row.
I'd venture to say the 3 in a row is another one of Vitali's vaunted records.... 4 out of the last 12 probably is a record as well but it's unofficial.Last edited by jimmy1569; 12-26-2011, 08:56 PM.Comment
