You cant compare Tito's situation to Bute. Totally different. If you actually followed boxing in the 90's you would know that Tito had problems with Yamil Chade. Fights that were supposed to happen didnt because of their disputes. Tito wasnt avoiding anyone. And for us that lived in PR before all this internet media sources, we read in the newspaper every single day of Tito's problems with promoters and why he wasnt able to fight. It is not the same. Do some research before making comparison like this.

Just like Bute was having problems with showtime and hbo contracts, causing him to miss out on a lot of the best contenders, like Trinidad. Not that different.

Bute is not having any problems with HBO or Showtime. He has a contract with Showtime. He was not included in the tournament and only Showtime knows why. People here like to assume they know what happened behind the scenes and it is only speculation.

Ward was the one quoted saying that Bute needs to earn a shot. Before the end of the Super Six he wanted to face Bute. But all those titles gave him leverage. Bute cant get a fight with a top fighter. Kessler didnt want any. Froch team is considering options. Who else is out there for him? Dirrell? We know no one will give him credit due to Andre D history. He wants the fights and it is not his fault that people on NSB and other sites talk crap about him just because they think they know whats going on. C'est la vie.

Invites to 2 unproven American were for title shots and nobody complain about that. And was there to fight? Ornelas? Stieglitz? Why they substitute Taylor and Dirrell with Green and Johnson and not Bute? Green is american but Johnson is Jamaican. Some good came with the Super Six, but some bad came too. Bute was a champion and he deserve to be there but wasnt invited. If he wants to prove he is the best he needs to beat Ward. He wants the biggest challenge, not the super six left overs. And until he beats Ward, if he can, no one will give him credit. Not even beating Froch (he is been in too many wars), Kessler (he is past his prime), Andre D (he is a quitter) Anthony D (he is too young). Too many excuses. But you for some reason dont want to see that fight happen when it is the one that makes the more sense.
