Floyd has alwas avoided the biggest challenges so SRL wins. Floyd would have to fight SRL to prove us wrong. He aint doing that any time soon.

But interesting that SRL said Senior was the hardest to hit opponent of his? Floyd would be hard to hit as well, but he wouldnt be offensive just like his dad.

fmj @ 147 looks to play defense and potshot in the early rounds, and wait for his opponent to tire out and come on strong in the later rounds...

i watched the srl/floyd sr. fight, and i think what srl meant was floyd sr. wasn't a stationary target...when i saw the fight, looked like srl was throwing an awful lot of leather to land consistently, but he was landing consistently on floyd sr...i always thought a great combination puncher like srl could offset that shoulder roll defense...i see no reason why he can't be successful with jr.

No way. I'm not hating on Floyd, but Ray would beat him.

Nobody recognized important moments in fights like Ray Leonard. He did exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment damn near every time. He knew what the situation called for and did it. Hearns, Benitez, Hagler, Duran. Hard to even name the best guys Floyd beat. Corrales, Castillo(even though Floyd lost), De La Hoya and Marquez. Doesn't quite match up.

It was obvious that SrL was himself at the heavier weights. So that is a non-factor. In his first loss he fought absolutely the wrong way. This leads me to believe that Floyd one ups him in the smarts department.

Not to take away anything from your analysis but when has mayweather faced a Benitez, Duran, hearns, hagler calibre kinda fighters? Where sugar is fighting Duran, take a similar fighter in money's resume and make that comparison etc. question is how would have may done with sugars resume? Fact is that 0 wouldnt exist and lets be honest he would have avoided the named fighters like a plague coz there's nothing in his resume to prove he would have ever faced hagler or hearns etc

At WW, Sugar RR retires Mayweather and rips him a new as*hole for 50 cents.

Mayweather really have not accomplished much at WW. It ain't even his natural weight.

At WW, Hitman Hearns retires Mayweather and rips his peepee off. Floyd becomes Flo Mayweather.
