Floyd is unbeatable in fantasy matchups, I think his record is up to like 183-0, 180 KOS.

Ray Leonard was a massive welter, 5'10"/74" reach, and could fight comfortably at higher weights, AND he was faster than Floyd. Sounds like a lot for Floyd to overcome IMO. On top of that, Ray already showed how ineffective the shoulder roll/Mayweather fighting style was against him. And before you start, yes I know Sr wasn't as good as Jr but they both had similar styles, great handspeed/reflexes/etc and Sugar Ray wipes his ass with that.

Like someone already said, if a prime Ray Leonard were magically transported to our time and he was looking take on Floyd, money would announce his latest 'retirement' or 'vacation'.

People have a tendency to rate things of the past because they were the first ones placed on a pedestal in sports. Just because they were there in the past doesn't mean they were all that good or even ATG

Toughest match up for either of the two. The only 50/50 fight for Floyd of all fantasy matchups to me. SRL was also a great thinker in the ring and he packed more a punch. I'd give up an ear to see that fight.

If we're talking about Leonard and Mayweather at Welterweight, I don't see how Floyd wins. Leonard was a bigger, fast, stronger Welterweight, with faster combination punches with great footwork. Floyd's not as dynamic at 147 as he was at 135lbs where he still threw combination punches and had good pop at that weight. Against a prime Leonard at Welterweight, I don't think even his slickness would hold over the entire fight and in order for him to score he's gotta throw punches, and in that meantime Leonard would be landing some bombs and giving Floyd a lot of feints. Floyd's never seen a guy like Leonard in front of him and Floyd, though great tactician, doesn't have anything that would prevent Ray for going in for the kill.
