    Old Oscar almost beat Floyd.

Prime Ray Leonard would whoop Floyd.

    The End.

Yeah but he was a mere child fighting an ATG but the second time he fought Duran he corrected his errors and made Duran quit. Only Ray Leonard and the night manager at Hometown Buffet can boast that claim.

Duran only quit because he had a belly ache from eating too much steak and orange juice for breakfast

Leonard fought and beat the best no matter what the style and strength of the opposition SRL prevailed and outdone them all at their own game, Mayweather is a top top fighter but SRL he is not and never will be. I would expect Leonard to stop Floyd about 6 rounds into a fairly onesided battering too big, too strong, too fast and hits too hard. No disrespect to Floyd he is a great fighter, just not that great.

            Sugar Ray Leonard.

I turned the video off after they tried using examples with Sugar Ray facing the likes of Hearns and Duran then trying to prove the point with Floyd facing Gatti and Ortiz

The problem with these fantasy match ups is that when you make the comparisons that the person who made the video does, it doesn't reflect what those two specific fighters could do to each other.

Ray Leonards resume is 10X that of Mayweather so it's not as if he was getting hit by chumps or avg fighters.

Mayweather is a great fighter but I think Leonard is a bad match up for him because of his size advantage and the fact he could go speed for speed with him.

Interesting fight but I think these fantasy match ups are just opinions and the fact is we will never know.

He definitely didn't almost beat him but you have to admit, he gave him a much better fight than most thought. I personally thought Oscar would be embarrassed like he did with Manny.

Mayweather Sr. gave Leonard some issues in their fight with a similar style.

When you have Leonard himself saying things like "Yeah, because he's like his dad, and his father gave me trouble too, but because his father couldn't punch, I didn't have as much to worry about. Now Floyd can punch harder than his father." when asked if mayweather would be a tough fight, then you should probably reevaluate your bias.
Clearly you have no idea as to what you're talking about. He gave Ray no "issues" whatsoever. Ray took a round to figure him out and when he started to fight his fight and know that Sr was not a threat in any way, it became annihilation.

I guess. I hated that fight. I watched it and felt like they weren't even trying.
