      yeah pretty much.

who has floyd beat that makes him even worthy of being compared to sugar ray? Hatton? Past it De la Hoya? Ortiz?

I'll take Leonard in this match-up. Floyd's body of work leaves a lot to be desired...

After watching this video there is NO WAY Ray would've beat Duran Hagler Hearns and Benitez with that low left..... Not even to mention the greatest of all time Floyd.....

            Blasphemy

I just love the fact that someone says "Floyd could beat Leonard based on the right hand because Leonard had problems with it and Floyd is great with the right and I'll show you examples" then proceeds to show three fighters, all ATGs, all of whom lost their fights with Leonard!

I think the best part about these types of vids is when these guys use exa plea of single shots and say "Floyd could land this and win" then show these bizarre examples to illustrate. Most of them against guys way bigger and taller than Mayweather, but then forget to talk about what comes back from Leonard.

It's all well and good saying "Leonard got hit sometimes in his boxing career with the right hand, therefore Floyd would win" but their brilliant answer to what happens to Floyd when Leonard throws harder, faster combinations and has better skill by a mile than anyone he has ever faced, the usual answer is "He's the best defensive fighter ever. Leonard couldn't hit him or hurt him"

              *sigh*

              Whatever kids.

Floyd may of been toying with Oscar (which im not sure i agree with), but Ray was also toying with Floyd Snr imo, and got knocked down against Howard whilst doing his Ali impression after 2 years out of the ring. Howard was also an aggressive Jnr Middleweight.

In a nutshell, i dont see any of Rays opponents in that video fight anything like Floyd does. They were all being very aggressive, throwing multiple big combination punches and bulling Ray around. Very different to how Floyd fights.
...and we have one of the few people who know what they're talking about actually making sense!

"But Floyd has the best right hand ever and those bums aren't as good!".

Yeah, but Floyd doesn't fight like that.

"Floyd has the best right hand ever!".

Yeah but he counters with it and all those guys you showed were leading and pushing Leonard back. Leonard would be walking Mayweather down and pushing him back. He ain't going to be landing any hard, powerful right hands like the videos.

"Floyd has the best right hand ever".

                Ok.

Leonard was a big WW in comparison to Floyd and he could ****. We haven't really seen that from Floyd at 147 due to his hands and really not having overall good power at 147. Similar to Sweet Pea, he relies on defense, a little bit of dirty tactics, good timing and not wasting punches. Against the crop of guys he's fought since Oscar I'd say it gets the job done. But against Leonard, you got a guy with the total package (speed, power, foot work, ring smarts, great combination punching) in his prime. I think Floyd's true prime years were spent at 135-140. I see Ray really overwhelming Floyd.

man im a floyd fan but he just hasnt faced and overcome the kind adversity ray did and by that note its hard to tell how much heart he really has. he has the tools necessary to be competitive with ray but stil most advantages go to ray. strength ray speed at best equal but im leaning towards ray. defense i give to floyd offense i give to leonard. anythings possible and floyd definitely has a better chance thar pac but i still think he gets beat bad. id say leonard 118 to 110.
