There is always going to be a "he could've fought this guy, he could've fought that guy" argument with almost everyone.

When you get to a certain level in boxing, trust me, they all pick and choose.

Because fighters like Floyd Mayweather, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson and Joe Louis have existed.

Oh no, a spelling mistake. **** happens.

Try responding to the bull**** points you made.

              1. Mayweather Sr is not the originator of that style.

              2. The fact Ray Leonard beat Mayweather Sr with such ease obviously does not automatically mean he beats Mayweather Jr.

Just because they have a similar style doesn't mean the fight would play out the same.

They have vastly differing attributes. Mayweather Jr does everything to a much higher level than Mayweather Sr. And they are different fighters.

Mayweather Sr Vs Leonard is completely irrelevant in regards to how a Mayweather Jr Vs Leonard fight would play out.

As I recall it Leonard did not beat Mayweather particularly easy. It's also worth remembering that Leonard was only a prospect at the time. About 12-0 or thereabout.

                  They both have all-time accomplishments.

                  Rocky was reaching.

I consider it relatively one-sided. I mean, it wasn't an complete blow out but I wouldn't consider it competitive.

And yeah, he was still an absolute prospect.

Both of these are besides the point, though.

The fact remains that the Mayweather Sr-Leonard fight is completely and utterly irrelevant in regards to who would win between Mayweather Jr and Leonard.

Me personally? I'd pick Ray Leonard by a close by clear Decision, UD.

                      All 3 are reaching.

Their resume's pale in comparison to Ray Leonard's.
