It's funny how "fans" of this sport are so quick to write guys off after a crushing defeat. Cotto is another example of a guy who I feel hasn't gotten his "just due" around here since the Margarito and Pacquiao beatings. Granted that's changed a bit since his revenge on Margarito, but the point still stands.

I'd much rather have guys face the best and lose, than avoid the best and win.
Which is why you rate Calzaghe higher than Ward?

I've said elsewhere... I was so engrossed in the fight I didn't bother to keep a card.

Obviously when I say that I mean I scored it 118 for Froch while drinking tea in front of a picture of the Queen and singing Rule Britannia, and I'm just trying to avoid the question.

There were rounds which were arguably closer than others, such as the last couple where Ward was clearly closing down the fight. There were also maybe one or two before that where you could make a possible case for Froch. Note the word "possible" there.

But to answer your question, my scorecard would have been nearer/the same as my countryman judge's rather than the objective and neutral American/Canadian judges.

I'd break down Joe's career and list the worthy opponets who he thoroughly dismantled, but since they're largely European fighters (and you're largely a childish anti-European windbag), there's really no point in even having this discussion with you.

"Andre Ward is 'da fukkin' GOAT, son! He haz mad skillz, yo! Son of God, P4P#1, baby!"

            You all have great excuses.

"I didn't score it because I watched it!" Translation: I don't score fights, so really my opinion doesn't count in a sport that requires fans to do so before forming arguments, but I'll keep using proper grammar and make you think I know boxing because I am a smart person, damn it!

"I would do this, but, since I can't, I'll insult you!" Translation: I need lots of time and spin to make this work.

            Thanks for playing, guys.

I totally I agree, getting pissed off with it to be honest. I think Mayweather and Pacquiao have raised the bar so high over the last few years that you have great/world class fighters not getting the credit they deserve. Tomorrow if Mayweather dominates Pacquiao people will question Pac's credentials, it's dumb.

Ward has not fought and competed with a guy like Hopkins, no matter who you thought won, they both nullified each other for the most part. So I give
Calzaghe the edge, but i expect Ward to overtake him

You see, this would actually make more sense if you weren't insulting people FIRST.

You talk about insults, then make posts about being biased because of their country of origin. You're a joke of a poster.

I didn't even SAY I don't score fights. I said I didn't score last night's fight as I was too engrossed in it. Can't you ****ing READ, son?

For the record, my score would have ranged from 118-116 Ward. I don't see giving Froch four rounds (incl. the last two, where Ward was hanging on like you hang onto an eight year old's ****) as being ludicruous. Note, I am NOT saying I gave Froch four rounds, just saying it was FEASIBLE, geddit?

Let's reiterate: the only judge who DIDN'T have it close last night was from the UK.

Robin Reid, Omar Sheika, Chris Eubank, Bernard Hopkins (past prime, but still good), Mikkel Kessler, Roy Jones (shot), Jeff Lacy, and Mario Veit.

                    Happy now?

I eagerly await your response saying they're all bums who Andre Ward would run circles around, knock out, and then have sex with their girlfriends.

I gave "The Cobra" 3 rounds. From what I remember of the closing rounds (where Ward mostly shut his performance down), it's possible Carl could have gotten 4 rounds in his favor, but that's it. No way in hell did he win more than 4 rounds.

                      117-111, Andre Ward.
