              Either way, the fact that Vargas had such a close fight with Wright in the first place shows how good he was imo.

                  He got the decision because he was supposed to be HBO's new star. If you think Barrera and Marquez was controversial, you gotta feel the same for this one. C'mon lol

                      oh, there was no doubt it was controversial. You could have had Wright winning the Vargas fight.

                      but I reiterate: just being able to have such a close fight with a Wright at 154lbs is pretty indicative of your ability as a fighter. and its not out of the question that you could have had Vargas winning the fight, since he did throw more and land more punches, particularly in the last rounds.
