If you think he can hit harder than Lennox Lewis you are ignorant. Sorry if that insults you but it's plain ignorance to think that sir. Basic common sense tells you this.

From what I've seen of Louis (which, granted, isn't that much) Vitali wouldn't hit him enough times get a decision. He'd have to win by KO which, while possible, is unlikely imo.

3-1 against opponents under 220. Failed to floor 5'11 Bean, and quit against little Byrd.

Joe hit harder than anyone Vitali ever faced including Lennox. Lennox only had power in one hand.
Damn. Not something I ever expected from you.

So let me get this straight, a just above average Max Schmelling who weighed like 192 lbs when he faced Louis can KO him but Vitali can't?

Why did you fall back to this particular argument when Joeyzags has repeatedly shown that Louis thrived on bigger fighters because they were much easier to hit. The Louis that destroyed Carnera wasnt even a prime Louis.

The June 23, 1938 NY Times quoted Schmeling as saying he was hit with a kidney punch, a devastating right, which so shocked his nervous system, that he was "dazed" and his "vision was blurred." He was hit so hard to the body he lost his sight for a few seconds.

"Louis threw a straight right hand so hard that Uzcudun's cornerman Ray Arcel said, "Louis drove Uzcudun's teeth right through his mouthpiece.” Veteran referee Arthur Donovan said, “It was the hardest punch I ever saw." So damaging was the blow that 20 minutes later Uzcudun stood up in his dressing to take a shower and fell over. James Braddock said that Louis also drove his teeth through his mouthpiece, "I thought my head had been blown off," he explained".

                  Yes, that's correct.

Based on seeing quite a few Vitali fights on TV and some internet viewing of Louis. Also based on the generally accepted consensus that Joe's boxing skills were superior to nearly all fighters past and present. Yes. That is my opinion.

                  Next rhetorical question please.

I didn't even think I needed to elaborate on the fact that no big man aside from Lennox Lewis has been anywhere near the skill level of Vitali and Wladimir, but I guess I need to point that out to you?
