    Your crazy then.

Mares will get starched against Nonito.

Too fast, too technical, power in both hands and has killer instinct.

    Mares will be Sandusky'd.

If, but a big if Abner just boxes him and doesn't try **** with Donaire Abner has a great chance.

But I feel Donires promoter won't let this fight ever happen, sadly.

This would the biggest fight to be made below Lightweight.

No. Donaire is a better boxer, with faster reflexes, better counterpunching, and obviously harder punches.

                    Don't be so final here...

With Omar Andres Narvaez, Donaire had a hard time getting to Omar at times, and Omar was actually getting to Donaire in the first half of the fight but then half way through the fight Omar went into just defensive mode and didn't want to box at all. But there were some times in that fight were Donaire was getting fits from Omar...

So maybe, just maybe if Abner boxes him with his smarts he will have a great chance. imo

Thing is, Mares doesn't go into that high guard shell and refuse to fight. His best moments are when he throws combinations and his opponents can't handle it. He's not Narvaez, and even Mares's boxing ability isn't going to trouble Donaire enough to win.

Besides, the bigger the stage, the better Donaire performs. Guys like Narvaez are typically when Donaire doesn't look his best, and Nonito still won every round. Again, I don't want to say no chance for Mares, but I'd be shocked.
