Apparently his guarantee per fight will be like 7mills per fight and he has been offered a Pacquiao Rematch at 15mills guranteed + PPVs and revenues. Also the contract that they are talking about is a 3 fight contract, instead of the 3 or 3 years he regularly signs!!

And this is the reason they call out Pac and Mayweather. For the MONEY, not because they can actually win.

You think arum is really consider MAyeather as a opponent?? get real dude. Floyd nor Pac wants to fight each other, while they have guys like Berto. Guerrero or Khan(fro Floyd) and Bradley, Cotto, Chavez jr, JMM(for Pac).

Cotto will be fighting big fights after the sellout in MSG, and yes it will propably be all PPVs.

I'm not sure why people are screaming for Cotto to leave Top Rank. They made him at least 15 million in his last three fights against pretty easy opponents, with headliners in Las Vegas, MSG and Yankee Stadium.

Mayweather vs. Cotto would NOT happen if he jumped over to GB because Mayweather's big argument of "pacquiao fights my leftovers" would go out the window. Mayweather has called Cotto a shot fighter in several recent interviews. "Pacquiao beat a shot Cotto who already got beat by Margarito"

Nobody at GB means anything at 154 except Canelo and they wouldn't match him with Cotto any time soon. They are not going to risk a kid who might have another ten years in the game against a fighter with three or four fights left. Cotto would only be used by GB as a name opponent to build Canelo's resume. GB is saving Canelo for a Mayweather fight, whether it takes place in May or later on.

This is exactly how I see it too. For us fans is better for Cotto to move to GBP to see better fights(money wise not that good), but for Cottos best interest is to stay with Arum.

I honestly believe that Cotto lost because he thought he was the bigger man. If Cotto moves the way he did on saturday, Pacman will look like a deer in headlights. I say make the damn fight, lets see.
